mr1upz has a crack at ranking every elite four member. All the four respective doormen for the kingpin of their region, the Elite Four ranked (Pre Pokemon Scarlet and Violet so no Paldea Elite Four. Soz Larry, you're in another video. Even though they wouldn't be shifting the balance of power, none of the strongest Elite Four members came from gen 9. On the side of weakest Elite Four trainers there, can't blame them when Geeta is the top dog somehow).
The Pokemon Champion doormen consisting of what should be the canonically strongest pokemon trainers. But who are the strongest Elite Four trainers when they're competing against each other and not a mute 10 year old child? You don't know? Well that's why I've made this Pokemon Elite Four Tier List (Kinda?). Welcome boss, take a seat, grab a protein shake or whatever for my ongoing series of ranking every Pokemon league trainer, like a collective multi video Pokemon Trainer Tier List. If you're binging through my quest to rank every Pokemon League trainer up from my ranking Pokemon League Champions video and Gym Leaders ranked, it's time to see who out of all Pokemon Elite Four Trainers are the... Elitist... of the four?
For what should be some of the hardest Pokemon battles, the weakest elite four members seem fairly obvious if you're a well traveled Pokemon battler. Some of them have to be weak trainers to easy you into the pokemon league gauntlet, they can't all be Pokemon champion trainers. Even though he may be one of the worst Elite Four members, it's actually impressive trainers like Aaron made it far enough to be in the conversation with a monotype bug team. Whereas the strongest Elite Four trainers like idk, Grimsley, he had it easy getting it this far when he chose to mono a dark type team. Ya kno boss?

I think the Elite Four should all be dual type masters, it would make a more interesting challenge after 8 gyms of single type. I think it'd be fun and ask for an additional type coverage and knowledge. Either way, your videos are absolutely PEAK, always losing myself watching this shit bruh 10/10 yet again.

I can imagine that this or strategy gimmicks may become more popular in future gens. After all, Raihan is technically a dragon type specialist but his team is overtly more of a weather condition team (even in the Wyndon rematch where he's slightly more dragon-centric). I imagine future late gym leaders and elite four will follow suit.

Kaitlin is outmatching everyone, because she's holding back. She used to make her butler fight for her when she was a teenager, because she would just kill her enemies if she got tilted. She could squeeze your Pokémon to death herself if she wanted. But Caitlin has moved past that. She's mastered the ancient art of not giving a fuck. I'd argue that Lucian has a better team than Caitlyn, with or without a Metagross. That Bronzong using Calm Mind and behind the screens setup by Mr. Mime was scarier than any other Pokémon ( far more than any other Cynthia's Pokémon ) I could recall on the top of my head. And if that's not scary enough, try facing his brave nature pure power Medicham in the trick room setup by his Girafarig in the remakes. And now he also has a stupidly bulky Slowbro with Regenerator because most psychic types have awful physical defence.

The disrespect to Malva. She's the one keeping all of Kalos in the dark since she's heavily implied to be running news cover-ups for Flare. It's probably due to her, that Didi never gets involved in the plot, even after Lys goes and makes a public declaration of genocide. Even the most powerful Trainers in the region don't have a clue what's going on. Her team ain't great, admittedly, but she had so much potential.

Many of her pokemon only have 1-2 weaknesses as well making it hard to take them out. Cynthia is the greatest champion and most difficult in the actual games

​@@youtubepunisher8695 Cynthia's definitely the strongest champion and the funny thing is, she's STILL going easy on you when she unleashes a level 88 Pseudo-Legendary Dragon in BDSP. Garchomp doesn't have Iron Head, Lucario doesn't have a Mega Stone and Porygon-Z has to recharge whenever it uses Hyper Beam which means they're holding back in order to give you a chance. Imagine if Cynthia actually pulled out all the stops. Even Giratina would flee back to the Distortion Realm.

Siebold may look weak but if you lack a Gyarados answer the Gyarados just devours you. That set is BDSP E4 level before BDSP. This alone should put him higher than most E4.

What sucks is, Siebold had a Mega Blastoise in the anime. And with how they handled gym leaders and such in Gens 8 and 9 you'd think they could have made Kalos elite four pack Mega Pokemon as their aces. I mean heck Malva legit had a Mega Houndoom in the anime, and she couldn't have it in the game? I just see wasted potential at that point. Not even unnoticed either, they had the idea right there the whole time but only implemented it into the anime. I do hope if we ever get remakes of XY, that they do something with this idea. (especially since I'd really like Megas to come back... That was such a neat mechanic)

I want Mega Rapidash, Mega Slaking, Mega Archeops and Primal Regigigas. Turn those side men into stars for goodness sake! Granted, Mega Slaking would be on par with Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre but they could stop it from being that broken by giving it Slow Start. Mega Slaking could balanced out having an ability that's only a bit better than Truant by being bulky as hell and using Slack Off until Slow Start's effect wears off. Speaking of Slack Off, give it to Snorlax for fucks sake! They should have done that at least a decade ago!
