Like xc2 references xc1 and xc3 references both, which is linked to the story… To understand why its cool you have to know that xc games are not explicitly linked to each other, they just share the same universe Its a bit complicated to explain but seing the impact of previous games on the new game is cool :)

Kirby isn't massive in the forgotten land box art lol he's just close to the camera and the buildings are faraway. Forgotten Land is like one of my favorite games and i've never seen the cover art as him being massive

The fact that the Switch has 88 first party games and a lot of DLC and the PlayStation 5 has 11 first party games in 3 years, some games aren't even out yet is just embarrassing. Some generations it was difficult to see who won the console wars but not this time nintendo wins no questions asked

Just want to point out but the pokemon mystery dungeon box art is a call back to the orginal red and blue which in its self was a reference to the DS. Blue (goes in the top) has the explorers looking down a hole at a trapped team. Red (goes in the bottom) has the tream looking out the hole to make one giant box art

Well put together video, but I disagree with so many of these. A lot of the time he said "kind of ugly" I got confused when I thought it looked fine, like Tears of the Kingdom's logo. Though I do agree BotW's box is way better. Also can't get behind Moraidon being ugly when it's got that beautiful purple color and is a mecha lizard.

@@raidev_ Let me copy and pace it: box art is quite simple, it would normally be "generic", but because nobody is doing the "generic" box art's, it makes this one secretly unique. And it actually shows you the best characters ever, Mallow and Geno, that fact alone makes it better than the original american one. And no, The Exor backround was not that great either, and it spoils you the exor existens ( I know it sounds dumb, but if you see the intro you see that there is: no exor or Smithy gang, heck on of the scenes changed Bowyer and his Arrows to Kamek and terrapins, on top of the fact that they are hiding the fact that Bowser and Peach are party members, They were trying to trick you that this is Sticker star level of uniqnes, so Exor being on the box ruins everything )

Great video. But there's one thing I want to say. The European cover from Zelda Breath of the Wild looks different from the American cover. In the European cover Link looks back at the player and many people think that this cover isn't that exciting and like the American version more. Also because of the small Switch cover and the big German USK logo some covers were slightly changed. On the German cover of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom the logo of the game is a bit smaller because of the big USK logo. And in Fire Emblem Engage the logo of the game is on the top and not on the bottom as usual. If you want to make another video about video game cover it would be nice to explain if there another cover and would show them because games from earlier console has more different covers than the Switch ones. And for some people (like me as a European) it would also be cool to see the recognition of other covers.

21:16 this is the "Mario Sports series" for JRPG Fans: Banger Art but underwhelming game. This game is supossed to be a Cross-Over between Fire Emblem and Shin Megami Tensei, another acclaimed saga parent to the Persona series (Where Joker comes from). While the trailers envisioned the interaction between characters of both series, the game ended up being an Idol-Aesthetic game that only uses SMT Gameplay and Fire Emblem characters as spirits vesseled in original characters. So yeah, underwhelming.
