The problem with Bayern is, that outside of the Ultra section nearly 90% of all "fans" in the Allianz Arena are bandwagonners or gloryhunters, who don't know any chants beside "Bayern...Bayern". We experienced a similar situation around 2012/13, when we had our back to back Bundesliga victories and we also had a lot of bandwagonners in the Westfalenstadion. Really sad, because the Bayern Ultras are really good and solid at away games

"Smaller" teams like Warszawa and Sociedad deserve to be put in the spotlight instead of the eternal Liverpool, Manchester United, BVB, Barcelona, etc. atmospheres that everyone always talks about. I think bayern fans are really good overall. The problem is that in the allianz arena there are many tourists and success fans and that pulls the atmosphere down. If you want to experience the real bayern fans, go to the away game against stuttgart. The stuttgart home fans are amazing and the bayern away fans also done a great job last season.

Overall the support the German ultras give at awaymatches (in Europe) are much better than when they play at home because then most ultras are present who know the songs unlike at homematches in the big stadiums where many tourists and regulars come who do not always or often sing along with the songs.

It’s a joke that you rated Twente as one of the worst. Especially considering you went to Twente-Ajax which was on a Thursday evening at 18.45. In addition, the game against fiorentina was quite hectic. During the day there were a lot of fights and even during the game most of the ultras/fans were more busy with each other than with the game. In comparison you went to Feyenoords’ most important games. Ofcourse the atmosphere is better in these games. Next to all of the above, everyone in the Netherlands know that Twente and Feyenoord have the best fans. Feyenoord fans have insane pyros, Twente fans have the best tifos/choreos. So for the upcoming season, visit both Twente - Feyenoord and Feyenoord - Twente, and please reconsider the conclusions you’ve drawn. Keep up the good work!!

In comparison is Feyenoord much and much more quiet during regular matches. Even their away sections are so quiet. Twente has by far the best and especially most loyal fans. As an englishman im dissapointed that the clubs at the top of the tables speak for the whole of england. I support southend United. We are in the 5th tier and some of the atmospheres i have experienced all the way down in this tier is very impressive. Its a shame all of the clubs at the top are so quiet when the clubs further down are the most passionate. I reccomend coming to one of our games sometime!

I don't like such comparisons. Better fans and worse fans. If someone likes the crowd screaming throughout the match, that's fine, I respect that, but I hate it. I think that the English are the best fans because they live the match and watch what is happening. The stadium is often lit up by events on the pitch, not by the organized army screaming loudly throughout the match, which is not in keeping with a football match at all.

As a Club Brugge fan, I can confirm that we are having the same discussions about the (lack of) atmosphere in our stadium this year. The general fan sentiment is that expectations became too high after an extended period of winning (3 titles in a row and 1/8th round of the UCL). Combine that with a horrific manager appointment at the beginning of the year, which led to an awful spell of games around the Benfica match, and you have a recipe for general discontent amongst the fans. Somewhat ironically we were known to have a brilliant atmosphere in the period that we didn't win any titles in 11 years (2005-2016), so I guess you can say that success brings in the plastics and the expectation that you should win every match and play nice football to be "worthy" of our support. The good news is that new fan groups (such as the Bruges Loyals) are starting to emerge and unite themselves in the North section of the stadium, so here's hoping that we are able to surprise you in a positive sense next time you visit us :)

Yeah, atmosphere really fell down. Most teams feared our fans. The fans gave the players a spark. But now, after all we’ve got, some people think it’s the other way around. Sidenote in the game he visited. It was a home game so quite logical there were no fans in the city. Most of them worked during the day. I'm not a fan of any of the clubs, I'm a celtic fan. Sometimes in big games, I'm not sure if it's just me but when the stakes are high, for example in an old firm, sometimes the nerves of the occasion can ruin the atmosphere. From the off, when we beat them 3-0, the atmosphere was unbelievable, the best I will probably ever witness, but the 1-1 game at the end of the season, if we win we secure the league, the atmosphere was so poor as everyone was nervous, you could feel it. The crowd will lift great team performances to another level, where the away side will feel helpless. In europe theyre just background noise no different than an american School band. I get what you saying with feyenoord that it can be a bit quiet sometimes. But that because ppl are full of tentions all the time. I like that way better than at some other clubs ppl are only bussy singing so they can say they created a "good atmosphere" and dont give a fck about the game itselff. During Legia-Lech that you showed in the video, there was no pyro or stuff and no whistles at opponent like O.M had because even tho they are their biggest enemies they literally beat up themselves after the match and other stuff. Thank you for sharing this videos, I really appreciate it. Also I totally understand your comments about the English fans and their 'atmosphere'. I have to say sometimes you have to be a bit lucky when you're visiting a match. For example in 2019 I was going tot Napoli - Bologna and the both ultras didn't sing one single song before and during the game.. hopefully there eas a strike or something like that because it was very dissapointed for me. Keep up the good work!

Yes in 2019/20 Napoli Ultras didn't attend any matches cause the club started to pretend people to sit and do not use flags and pyro

@@jesselodder3635 First off, their stadium is incredible. Easily the best stadium in the country and one of the best in Europe. Now about the fans. I think that Feyenoord fans are capable of an immense atmosphere, but it's too often quiet. Even in the final title deciding game, they got really quiet. It's a bit like Anfield in that regard. They can peak reallyyyy high (especially in Europe), but it can also be quiet for a really long time. I think that PSV and Ajax fans would create a better allround atmosphere in the Kuip and I also think they've shown this during the cup final.

@@BlackParade01 never seen a good choreo at PSV theire banners are like 2 meters, ajax played a lot of CL games at home without a decent choreo. Both Ajax and PSV could not sell out every game if they played in the kuip as home ground 😂 if you gonna talk dont talk shit 😂 Feyenoord have a way bigger fanatic fan group then both teams and have more love for the club with the biggest banner with weeks of work as perfect example, something you dont see in amsterdam and eindhoven 🤡

England has great football culture. There are 4 professional leagues including 92 professional clubs not to mention the hundreds of semi-pro clubs. The banter between fans is unrivalled. Also considering the modern game was invented in England, I think that is unfair. Also when you said there is no atmosphere, I'm guessing you've only been to see "big 6" clubs or prem clubs? I have been to see Bayern Munich, Athletico Madrid, and Inter Milan, and I would consider my clubs atmosphere (Leeds United) to be much better than all of those. I find away fans very poor aswell in other European countries that I've been to. I would say awayday culture in England is far greater.

also go to st pauli, schalke, hamburg now in 2nd tier....spectacular, insanity, massive away support...real sociedad fans only comes to life in their derby, apart from that theyre like the rest of spain, they dont travel away at all even in spain, that disqualifies them, period
