The metal bat isn’t necessarily longer to build up its passive ability is it’s ult is built up fastest by damage taken, but trying to damage opponents for your ultimate will be slower. I often have it way before many other characters other than bald hero. This is partly because this is the fourth day playing this game but I sometimes willingly do dump plays or take damage. I do believe metal bat is one of best characters to use against teamers because of your taking more damage than a 1v1, stun possibility, and the ultimate specials are either really good at damaging multiple enemies or countering the less fortunate. I understand the holy grail believes ninja is the best one for teamers but I personally believe the metal bat is just as good or better.
