Based off statistics, I rank the 9 sniper rifles in vanilla DayZ Standalone. These weapons are judged off health and shock damage, reload speed, sway, recoil, max ammo count, rounds per minute, penetration, attachments and other features! All of these picks are based off what I found most important for a sniper rifle.

Blaze is most accurate under 500m, then it goes to the cr550 and tundra from 500-800 then anything above that is mosin. statistics

I would personally rate the pioneer higher because it is arguably the quietest gun in the entirety of DayZ when suppressed, giving it a huge stealth advantage, but overall good list

My favourite sniper is Tundra, easy to deal damage but hard to master

Savannah is best bc recoil does not matter one bit bc you have to re site in on the target between each round bc of the the bolt anyway..

It actually does matter. With the Tundra, you can see if your target dropped or not. Can't do that with the Savanna.

Yeah wait till you need to repair the savanna Mag mid fight because it goes to damaged fast af haha..tundra is still the best rifle in the game as you can top it up between flanks ect while you have to remove the Mag on savanna

Great video. Besides the fact you can’t use a suppressor the blaze is amazing when set to double shot. You hit someone and they are dead. Limited ammo capacity kills it but it is still my favourite.

@@raymondsaults7603 That’s a really good question that I can’t find the answer to. It for sure would up the shock damage and I’d assume health damage but unsure as to how much. I looked on heaps of forums to find the answer but no statistics on it sorry

The blaze has highest damage when you use the double shot. Will always one hit kill. And you can use it like the shotgun without the scope. It's actually pretty good in CQB without the scope. I often walk around without the scope attached. It's good for close and mid distance that way. And longer ranges you mostly have time to attach the scope if needed. The only downside of the blaze is at extremely long range, and when you miss the first shot and need to reload. But it's a great weapon. Most riffle kills i had were with the blaze. The first shot is often the most important. It's a instant win when you land the first double shot in a 1 vs 1 fight.

I prefer the hunting scope and.308 caliber plus the ability to reload from the top so tundra all day. I do like the pioneer as well because it can take the standardized suppressor but you might as well just use the m4 or aur ax because of capacity.
