Yeah the Gerudo shields (Gerudo, Radiant, and Daybreaker) all have lower shield surf friction than most other shields, Minds Eye also has the same effect, and in BOTW the Ancient Shield is the best in that sense. But in TOTK, you can just fuse carts, sleds, ice, icy meats, etc to add that friction reduction, so any shield can be viable for surfing. Also the Radiant, Steel Lizal, and Daybreaker have lower durability consumption while surfing, allowing you to surf longer on them!

Actually, the Radiant shield was the best for shield surfing in BOTW, with the Ancient shield at a close second. I'm not sure if that carried over to TOTK but it might've. Fusing a cart to a shield creates a sort of fragile skateboard while a sled paired with certain environments can allow one to surf indefinitely.

Those bumps actually serve an important purpose for round non curved heater shields. 9:47 that is a carp, and my first play through my whole shield inventory was filled with royal guard shields until I got the highly and shield. Then every other shield was a royal guard shield

The normal zonai shield can be fun if you stick big stuff onto it, like a piece of amber or Diamond or a dragon spike shard. Looks like you're dual wielding. The radiant shield is really good for shield surfing. If you want to try a new playstyle you can fuse a Royal shield to the gloom club, or a sea breeze shield to a biggoron sword. Fun parrying practice until you get bored of it after a couple minutes.

Radiant Shield should be S tier because it is by far and away the best shield for shield surfing, with a friction value of 0, the same as when you fuse frozen meat to a shield, with a fairly high durability stat to boot and a much lower durability reduction/consumption from sheild surfing, you can use these shields for shield surfing without needing to fuse anything to them and they're the next best thing after a Hylian Shield fused to frozen meat, except you can have multiple of them but only ONE Hylian Shield (unless you use duplication glitches of course) which makes it a pretty tough decision to fuse it to just frozen meat the entire time or to have to pull out some frozen meat and fuse it to it any time you want to surf.

The Radiant shield is the best shield for shield surfing(even better than Sheikah/kite)since it has a shield surf friction of 0.1 and a shield surf durability lost rate of 0.6. For the Daybreaker shield, its durability lost rate is 0.5 and the friction is 1(normal) O(∩_∩)O

Yes you can. Type ‘sea breeze shield’ in the Zelda mods interactive map and then you can locate it easily. A chest is always a one time only reward so it’s unrenewable unfortunately. But of course, you can simply buy one from Cece afterwards, or using glitches such as SLD/Overload drop/Zuggle(side effect)to duplicate it
