Poison shot absolutely deserves its spot. Whenever I play multiplayer, we mainly focus on crowd DPS, and 1 poison shot is enough for us to SHRED elites and bosses. If the tiers are ordered, the only thing I'd change is to move homing shot up. It basically plays the game for you.

poison is a necessity for long runs without a doubt and I put homing shot at S+ which is the highest rating on this particular list so it's good there haha we are on the same page

Wind up is powerful if you have the mod that has a chance to give you ammo every hit and the mod that if you kill you don't use up ammo. I use the crossbow because of the spread and range

Not a whole lot I can disagree on the list with bit grip tape F tier hurt me. I don't pick it up often but when RNG isn't good and I'm getting the weird damage items (snake shots recoil ect.) 1 grip tape makes most of those mods unnoticeable when they do start to become stacked. I do understand though it being similar to crits because it needs pre-requisites and it doesn't add any extra damage. Good video 👍

Grip tape definitely has it's uses. I just never really see it as my best choice when I find it in a loot chest

there might have been a patch that changed the stats, but i feel critical chain is absolutely busted on high fire rate weapons in the early game. it is such a high critical chance that two sharpshooters and one crit chain nearly guarantees that you get majority crits after a second of firing.

it may have been one of the perks that changed from a cooldown to a % chance in the past beta update or so. Regardless, it's definitely super strong if you're going for a critical build!

I'd put accelerating shot in F tier personally because i rather stack bunch of snake, zig-zag, heavy shot etc. since accelerating shot mostly just ruin my build.

Hard disagree but it's definitely personal preference. The "weirdness" of accel shot has never bothered me and the 100% dmg buff is too good to pass up

Accel shot is def S+ tier simply because it has one of the highest raw damage increases. Agree with this list almost entirely. Maybe grip tape should be slightly higher on the list though.

@@tundra_nw I can understand getting grip tape to help mitigate the crazy bullets on paper, but on my runs I would prefer to run big shot with accel shot cause I don’t need accuracy if my bullets cover half my screen. Also, it’s very common to come by in skill chests, but I’m not giving a bigger mag for a slight accuracy buff

Bounce shot can be really good if you already have arc and aura Bunch of particles bouncing around spreading the mobs

Agreed. Also very dependent on the weapon. I've had very good success with bounce shot on the crossbow. Just jump and aim down and the particles go everywhere.

Don't discount the map as well; in caves/high walled maps, bounce shots basically delete everything

I feel like mega crit and square shot a bit too low ngl, square shot just gives more bullets than arc shot and all bullets in a pattern to to 1 enemy anyways when used with homing shot

context is key here. lvl 1 square shot is a pretty low % for most weapons. The difference is that I can almost guarantee arc shot to be level 3 or so by the time I get to island 30. Might not even get square shot lvl 1 until island 30.

I'd feel like time shot should be higher. The only time i dislike it is when im trying to stack assasin/bullseye oneshot eliminations, otherwise its just a 100% dmg increase

@@TheeFURNAS_ in all seriousness, homing shot is an extremely good mod, but since the starting base proc percentage chance differs between weapons, I’d say it’s subjective. Having homing shot as your starting perk with the sniper (50% starting I think) feels so much better than homing shot on auto rifle

Pretty underwhelming at the moment. Actually just did a "turret army" type build last night and still had to rely heavily on our weapons. If they had more heath or the ability to hit crits then it would help out a ton. Even with enhanced turrets at lvl 30+ and 25+ turrets/sniper turrets/mortars they just end up dying very quick.

ehhh the settings are pretty basic and straightforward right now. Just max them out then see how frames are. Then turn a couple things down if necessary. The game is very very easy to run though. Consider turning weapon effects to minimal instead of full for a huge increase in late-game frames since it reduces all the crazy particle fx.
