honestly i think if hardcore wasn't so unbalanced, it would be my favorite, it's incredibly exhilarating to get to the end, especially with raze the void being the actual boss theme (scary that they considered a different song) also, i would have to disagree with your opinion on polluted wastelands, if you get a good team it's pretty easy to get to the boss, the only reason it's not my favorite is because of how stupidly unfair the boss' summon ability is

same here, its by far the most uniuqe gamemode and fun to play through if you have a team I like the idea of it being hard to win but it doesnt go well with public lobbies considering the average tds player has an iq of 10 also they removed the 2nd void reaver which imo I liked the duo boss fight more

Tbh I think hardcore is well made as it uses grave digger molten boss and fallen king along with two hardcore exclusive bosses being void rever and fallen swordmaster and it’s difficulty fits it’s name really well also.

Honestly, I think accel fits more with hardcore’s theme. Hardcore’s theme is the Void. The boss even has Void in it. With the Last upgrade with The power of the void having a void theme I think you should’ve chosen accel.

I would say the polluted wastelands are the best because they give players a real challenge, and it has the best looking theme and enemy designs, even though the reward isnt the greatest i still enjoy playing it

If I'm being honest, I think that Polluted Wastelands 2 is the best gamemode. Not only does it have banging tracks, but it also impacted the community a ton by bringing back a memorable map and just making it so much better. Although, I do kind of wish Commando got a remake along with the map. And just a side note, the music really goes well with what is happening. The music starts with a build up with weaker zombies, then just goes to a post apocalyptic banger which greets you with the Amalgamation. The Nuclear Monster music that also plays is really good as well. It really does feel like a finale especially when you see the amount of HP it has.

Yea sad to see Commando which is a excellent concept get forgotten and left to collect dust by below, i agree polluted wastelands 2 is the greatest event but the boss is kinda strange in its Appearance. Just stuck out for me that it's a radioactive robot dinosaur.

My top tier is badlands since it has its own unique design on all of the enemy (i think). Fairly challenging and gives actual rewards. While im also explaining pizza party, pizza party is pretty easy, even lost souls. I have tried to beat badlands under 18 min more than 15 times and most of them i got close, average is 18:10 min. While Pizza Party i played my fourth attempt and i got the badge easily.

All the enemies in badlands are the same besides the 2 exceptions. (Calvary and husk) but I do agree that badlands is the best, not too hard. Not too easy.

Frost Invasion should come back as a permanent gamemode. It felt like it was a part of the base game and not a event.

coming back to this video, I'd have to disagree with your view on hardcore mode, because there are strategies now such as the 'Trio Miners' strat that allow for the easy completion of hardcore without accelerator or engineer, and golden pyromancer is optional. I beat hc on my first try with this strat, and it wasn't too difficult, but still an enjoyable challenge.

i will do my ranking but i will do PP/LS & BL/QD a separate tier by being how easy it, to the hardest 9. Molten - this is by far the easiest mode (if you say by going solo once you're high level), nothing else i could say as the prize is amazing for solo, but it can be burnt out easily if you continue grinding on Molten solo. 8.Normal - We all can agree that, it's bad.. just try compare the prize of Molten & Normal, being 300 coin difference & the wave being shorter so i say it can be like a challenge but the prize is not really worth to even try beating Normal, it meant for beginner but you can just play Molten. beside, why would you wanna grind on Normal to begin with? 7. Fallen - I would say this, is pretty good of a mode as it atleast still gives challenge (if you're not fully skilled with going solo) and the prize bump, i would say meh i suppose, i am not sure if it's worth it tho as between time on the game of Molten & Fallen, Molten is worth it if you're going solo, but Fallen it's good if you're grinding with friends & you wouldn't get easily burnt out from it 6. Pizza Party - The game mode pizza party i would say the easiest (if you're fully prepare) as it's pretty much one of the best grinding mode to choose (ofc with your team) and you don't need a medic as well (i am not sure if that become an RNG but it's mostly don't needed for lost soul). i recommend using some strat then you can experience it stratless 5. Polluted wasteland - Same with Pizza Party, it can be the easiest but if you're fully prepare, you need medic for the amount hp the boss has so a stun can cost alot of second of not dealing big DPS to the boss, so basically it's easy as Pizza party but really need to be focus in the game to atleast defeat the Nuclear boss 4. Hardcore (Edit) - this i would say probably the most painful game, but i wouldn't say about the grinding is painful. The game of hardcore is easy but challenging (this is a guy who experienced siki strat alot, not counting solo) as it's pretty difficult to try catch up but from amount this you do this, this will be easy but it's always one thing you need to keep in mind, do not, mess up. A single. Thing. Messing up farm can lead to a leak with hp because the lack of DPS, accidentally placing down tower in the wrong spot with no money will lead to some game over situation. And grinding is not hard but painful Now by the prize of winning is 300 gem, is much worth to try beating it than just losing for 200 gem per hour, if you're grinding for accel, tough luck trying to find someone actually wanted to help you Grinding for engi is the worse as it's takes forever as you will lose your sanity, beside the fact if one of your team mess up once, you're dead, at wave 50 if you're super unlucky, you lost you get like 120 game making those progess you got, really not worth your time 3. Badlands 2 - Same again with the 2 special mode, PP & PW, you really need to be focus as the enemy will mess you up, like wave 16 or wave 21, wave 26 & wave 36 (imo), medic is really needed of this one from the boss ability of using the stun, no joke, you really need to buy & sell medic, not to mention you need to be good at Micro to do this 2. Lost Soul - it's pizza party but harder, which is not a bad thing but why i say it's harder than badlands 2? it's Visual, it's really hard to tell where to put your tower because how black & white it is, making it to difficult to tell if im placing it at the corner or im in the corner, and you will not tell that easily that you can place the tower down or not, again, the filter, it's perfect but there's lack of color in the map to atleast coordinate with the red & blue color of tower placement 1. Quickdraw - this, this game mode make your blood pump, you need to skip & not mess up tower placement, upgrade & farm. if you did then it's a mess up on the team with the Base HP (which can go to instant 0 hp) or you win but you realize you beat it around 19 Minutes 21 Seconds. and all of your team need to have accel atleast (I forgot about N.M.S. if you actually need all have accel or not) a good medic atleast, a decent guy with COA & a decent luck that the Gunslinger keep stunning tower because it stop in it track atleast

impossible mode: its a gamemode only voted at level 30 (theres reasons) the impossible mode has a tower limit of 55 you can get why every 40 waves a random boss spawns (even removed ones) in order to win you must beat EVERY SINGLE BOSS but once you do its not over. when you manage to beat every single boss 6 random bosses spawn once you defeat them all you get the summoner tower and also 2,200 coins (i will add more later like levels for the summoner how much each upgrade costs and what it does but later tho becuase im lazy)

Honestly Polluted Wastelands is actually extremely easy when you get a good team. An example would be one player having at least 1 support. Dj, Commander, and Medic. As well as some early defense like G scout. With some good farming someone can get a max dj and another can max an accelerator too. Making wave 22 pretty easy.

I don’t really have a favorite game mode because I just got back from a year long break from this game and I attempted badlands 2 once and lost immediately, so I was very glad that I already had cowboy from the original way you got it, which was just beating the og badlands map on Molten (which is significantly easier)

Well, honestly, hardcore is just painfull in the early waves, but then, is just pretty fun, with a bunch of hard enemies but with a really cool design, and winning it is so fun and satisfactory tho. For me is one of the best modes.

make a tf2 loadout with engineer ingame again, you can actually get all 9 mercenaries. Tf2 - TDS Scout - Scout (same name) Soldier - Rocketeer (both have rocket launchers) Pyro - Pyromancer (both fire) Demoman - Demoman (literally the same) Heavy - Minigunner (both minigun) Engineer - Engineer (literally the same) Medic -Medic (both heal) Sniper - Sniper (literally the same, but u can use ranger for more power, cause snipers) Spy - Cowboy (cause revolver?)

Heres a quick tip for badlands: You must have to put a sledger and warden to the three paths where your towers can reach so in the endgame they stunlock the tank or any other enemy's

For me: Hardcore is the hardest, because the cost is making you hard to get a early defense, and the enemy is really hard than other enemy. The Easiest is the molten mode, because you have more time to get early defense earlier

I have not beaten polluted wastelands 2 techincally, I got in a game with a group ( It was like wehn the event was out for 1 week ) and we got to the last wave we killed the Nuclear monster thinking we won but he spawned just at death some radioactives, and we were litearlly so mad, and then i just was like i give up thats how far i can go xd. Now it aint probably possible to win cuz u cant get a good team u can but if u have friends with every tower in the game, but i dont so yh, sadly i cant beat the mode though i did beat it techncally i killed the Nuclear monster still.
