As a former CCTV security officer, the reason figures appear and disappear In older analog CCTV footage is because security offices reuse the same VHS tapes over and over again to record the footage. They get rewound and reused once a week. When a vhs tape gets really old its unable to completely record over old footage so the footage will get combined. And when the camera is always aimed at the same spot you will never notice it's multiple recordings playing at the same time.

That's true , but only for contracted CCTV officials. ( Like in Malls , Official government buildings , army security , police security and mostly vast CCTV radius in which cameras work on VHS tapes ). Nowadays a single home can use simple Cameras that are linked to just small memory cards , or even plugged straight into phone-apps... So it depends but i agree this is true. Re-used VHS tapes does go thru many glitches and so on , as its a Pre-record unit which is used all over again.... Humidity and sometimes overheating affects the VHS tape itself from time to time.

Often when cameras get a water drop on the lens, you may not be able to see that it is there, but if an object were to move across the frame where that drop is, it can be distorted or seem like it disappears while that drop is covering them in the frame. I think what we see is the shadow of that person at the other side of that water drop at the end of that clip.

He didn't dissappear, there was a thick fat tree/shrub which blended well with the shade of the street, then when he walked past shrub you can again see his legs, at the left side there's this roof, and there's a very little gap between the big tree/shrub and the roof. You can clearly see the branches protruding out at the right side of the tree/shrub

True story. A missionary couple came back from Africa and they had bought a mask with them. Within 3 months they were deathly ill. No apparent cause. A pastor visited and told them to remove the mask. After it was gone they became healthy. The mask had a curse put on it. I have seen a great show about such items it's called the haunted collector. I heard about the Philadelphia experiment. They were there allegedly experimenting with a strong magnetic field directed at the ship. the assumption was that this field would refract the light reflecting off the ship, making it invisible. I don't remember exactly how it was supposed to work, but I remember hearing the story in detail from the testimonies of alleged witnesses and from the wife of the deceased sailor, it all sounded even credible.

I explain why some people seems to vanish in front of cctv cameras, most of them use infrared light to detect movement, since basically they detect heat from moving object, and then convert the image into grey level of colors, the person or animal going out of the field of view of the camera, reflects less and less heat and looks like its vanishing

20:18 That's nothing, I used to have wardrobe doors like that and they do that often. It's because the door is held straight under tension, over time it slips and goes to it's non-tension state which is exactly how it sits at the end of this movement.

I've heard that some styles of CC TV camera don't actually capture live footage most of the time, but have a cache saved of an un-moving image, until something sufficiently moves through it, then it updates the footage with the live data. This is to save RAM usage and make the footage data size smaller. BUT sometimes, the footage doesn't always update properly, and will make it appear as if people are vanishing, because the new image (at some point) is too weak to update and overwrite the saved data. So when people go into darkness (or come out of it), for instance, there's not enough light on them, and the camera is unable to well-enough perceive the new data in order to overwrite the old data.
