UL made an online vote for team rhythm vs. team groove's Prison, but not for Mamma Mia. The latter fits team beat more than team groove. They clearly expressed the song meaning. The vocals, the dance and even the visual is chef's kiss for me. The studio audience who votes cleary favors sexiness rather than those who really show the meaning of the song. Sucks.

Someone finally said it? People won't shut up about it. It's clear people were emotionally affected by the results of the loss and team beats reaction. It's fine to have a preference but let's not pretend like one performance was miles ahead of the other. Groove was asked to INTERCEPT the song. Not do the same exact performance. They needed to differentiate themselves and make an impact. I disagree with the rankings themselves but it's cool if that's how they feel. It's the explanations that I had a problem with more than anything. Giving JF mvp was a clear choice. They saw how good he was but failed to see how he changed the whole tempo and attitude of the performance. He affected his teammates energy and swag around him. Beat also fit the song much better. Daisuke and Chih En especially did not mesh well with the song or concept. Neither did Juwon. Rhythm had some stand out performers and Steven might have been the best of everyone on either team of ignition but overall I think beats team embodied the song more. Which is interesting because with Mamma Mia it's groove doesn't match the concept but with ignition it doesn't matter. Prison was a vocal song. Groove matched the tempo enough with their choreo and made it so you could pay attention to them performing said vocals. For a live performance Groove understood the assignment a little better. Rhythm had a phenomenal choreo but I think it might have been a bit too uptempo to deliver the high impact vocals like they needed to. That being said I thought they did a good job singing even with the tough choreo. I just don't think it was enough. Again people say Beats mamma Mia team understood the song better becasue they had the directors helping them interpret it and do the performance. But Groove doesn't get the same with Changsub for some reason. Even though we saw Changsub alter the performance of his own song to make it more comfortable to watch. Yet they hold that against groove in this case. Everyone's got their own opinion. This is mine.

The site voters said that they voted based on vocals in Prison but why Park Han has less votes when he was the one carrying the team's vocals lol. Even Changsub said during Rhythm's performance that the song might be intercepted from them. I mean vocal wise Groove really was amazing but you need to vote based on the overall performance, they are getting boring in the middle to end. Plus their choreo mistake was overlooked. For Rhythm, some members aren't that stable vocalist and is lacking compared to Groove but overall they performed well and love the energy. Being sexy really do matters to those voters.

@wren2975 sexy and visuals seem to matter more than anything else which drives me nuts. I happen to think Grooves tempo of the choreo matched the song better. Two small mistakes at the very end doesn't negate such a great performance. Rhythm did well but they did make a choice to sacrifice delivering on vocals so they could impress with their choreo. It's like splitting hairs. If rhythm had won I wouldn't complain even if i disagree. They were both really good. I just thought the team that prioritized vocals on a vocal song delivered it better. That's just my opinion.

I'm a team rhythm voter through and through but I personally think groove pulled out prison better. While I do admit rhythm team's skills felt more technical w the complicated choreos, the vibe of the song suites groove's team more. Most importantly, Park Han's voice undoubtedly fits this song leaps better than anyone else (the only one who gave me chills while listening to this round). Do I like groove team's more? yes... do I think rhythm deserves only 101 points tho? absolutely not.

I felt that even though I enjoyed grooves vibe to it more I can't watch it without cringing at some moments like the rap was kinda off (love heejun tho), i think a winning performance is one where you can enjoy it fully without mistakes taking you out of the experience. This is my list after watching the whole performance: 1. Rhythm's Prison - Their perfomance gave me goosebumps after goosebumps. They slayed, ate and INTERCEPTED the song. It was validated by all directors comments and reaction. It was BS that they got such BS vote numbers. 2. Rhythm's Ignition - Their team dynamics and chemistry is so impecabbly strong. They compliment and support each other and it shows in their perfomances. They are just like a group of friends having a lot of fun. Totally agree JL is the MVP here, Chih en needs to improve his facial expression. 3. Beat's Mama mia - Why they lost to Groove's bench, I would never understand. The vocals were stunning, the synchronicity was topnotch they were moving as one it was amazing. They lost but for me they were robbed. 😢 4. Groove's Prison - Sorry to say but with the exception of Park Han's vocal prowess, everything else felt lacking. Subpar choreo, poor energy, it was boring to watch. 5. Groove's Mama mia - Again, how they won and intercepted this song from Beat's I will never undestand😅. Sorry but not sorry but there was nothing sexy in their perfomance. It was weird at best and cringy at worse. Them winning was like a scam 😅 6. Beat's Ignition - How to describe their perfomance in one word: boring. Some might get offended by this but it's my raw and honest opinion. To each their own.

From costume, choreography, stage presence, visual, team dynamic and harmony they really killed it... And of course Prison Rythm is the best. I watched it over and over because it's so perfect.

Omg i also have ranking except for Groove's Mama Mia and Beat's Ignition. Both rhythm team devoured both vocals and choreo but Rhythm's Prison all the way! Their pronunciation is a bit lacking yes but it's because they are foreigners!! They accepted foreign trainees who are still learning the language. But storytelling wise, vocal wise, choreography wise, THEY ARE THE BEST! Also Mama Mia is definitely made for Beat's and rewatched the performance many times. I mean I only remembered Cha Woongki and Kairi but overall performance was really good. IDK why but Groove's mama mia is giving me an ick like giving me second hand embarrassment/cringe and idk why. I guess the concept was just not it for the song imo. Also I only watched (more like listen) Groove's prison because of Park Han's vocals since their performance is getting boring as the song ends and ye just listen to their version as background music compared to rhythm which gives me the hype of also watching the performance. Beat's Ignition is okay a bit boring for me but I like watching jiang fan tho. He really is an amazing dancer. Too bad he was eliminated early like I wanna see more of him. I am a silent watcher but I think I'll participate in voting and vote for Sirin. Though he kinda lacks stage presence but he's a very talented kid and deserves more vote!!

So, Team Groove won, right? But you hear a lot of people saying Team Beat should have taken it. It's crazy, the different ways people see things! Team Groove clearly impressed the audience (not to mention, they did not receive any mentorship from other mentors) enough to win, but Team Beat's whole "climbing to the top" (interpretated by El Capitano for Mamma Mia) thing really hit home with a lot of fans. I guess it's all about what you connect with, you know? Team Groove was all confident and already amazing like their own interpretation of the song is that they're already at the top, while Team Beat was more of that underdog story. It just goes to show you, judging art is totally subjective - there's no right or wrong answer. Both teams were amazing in their own ways!

I agree with everything you're saying! what can i say, im also a sucker for bright and more lighter concepts.. but anyway! beat should've won, but the line distribution was done so much better in groove. I got to see everyone “shine” (cough, i only had my eyes on joohyoung, hanseo and kyungho but we don't talk about that) while in beat, it was a woongki and kairi ft. friends (am i mad?... no). although, beat really showcased what the song was about. it wasn't meant to be mature and sexy, it was really all about empowerment; resilience. i could see the emotion within them, i truly could. the whole performance, i had my eyes on the center person. not just woongki or kairi, i had it on the person singing. its because of their vibe. it trapped me TT. you can literally hear the emotion in their voice ygs, they literally embodied the song. groove's performance and line distribution factor was good, but the concept? not really... it doesn't fit the song. the song is about not giving up, but the way they showed it is a bit off iykwim. still, i enjoyed both performances (joohyoung really is a skinny waist king + woongki hidden ace ygs, stop sleeping on him), just one slightly more than the other. i can't wait to see what else the teams have in store for us viewers!

The way I absolutely agree with you the further the video went is making me laugh lmao. I smouldered my saltiness for Groove intercepting 'Who We Are' (I refuse to call it Mamma Mia, it's a silly title imo) because of how detached the choreography and the vibe was to the song's lyrics and meaning. Beat regulars deserved better. And a higher score. And the win, quite frankly. I also agree with your take on Rhythm bench's 'Prison' performance. Sirin's vocals and Park Han's vocals delivered two different feelings for me. Whereas Park Han's was anger and denial-determined to break out of his prison, Sirin's felt like he has long lost his will to fight his way out of his prison. (Does that make sense?? lol) I'm not saying Rhythm should have won Prison, but I think it deserves a higher score. It genuinely felt like a close match with Groove. But because I tend to like bad endings, I liked Rhythm's interpretation (or at least how I felt it) of Prison more than Groove's interpretation. Plus points for the underlying sense of urgency in Team Rhythm's choreography. But- UGH, Park Han's voice...! lmao High-key agree with the Chih En comment. I've read something about his expressions improving in their Round 3 performances, so I'm looking forward to that whenever Episode 7 and 8 comes out.

How tf do you have less viewers and subscribers than me😭😭 Ur whole channel is underrated, ppl need to watch you more, i feel like League is different than Ticket because of how much harder it is for people to go off in order to find what contestants they wanna like and because there’s less drama in League, like in Ticket 1:1 battles, The girls were able to choose their own unique solos to highlight their skills and compete with other girls to create some sparks and drama and creating more tension and drama with Revenge Battles, while also giving a full contestant showcase performance (Come with me), instead League just did, We ready. And while we did half of the amount of contestants and getting their sob stories and background in return unlike in ticket, where it was very curated and picky, we got less to go off of since now they didn’t do that with League and only posted the We Ready Choreo Solo Fancam Shorts sorta like the Come with me Solo choreo shorts in Ticket. My point is, I’m really having a hard time trying to get into League because of how little I have to go off of Contestant info and talents, and no drama. Like you’d have to be a Stan to follow along with the show.

This is not about technicality but about how the audience felt/think about the performers and their performances. I agree mostly on everything but I'll place Rhythm's main starters ignition higher above TG Main starters' prison and TB Main Mamma Mia on the ranking. 1. TR Bench Prison 2. TR Main Ignition (They're spotless aside from Chih-En, and Hiroto was hidden well. JL tho was a monster on stage. He always has something different to offer every time he's on stage. Team plays on each other well, like a cohesive team alr. JL-Juwon chemistry on stage is something I adore.) 3. TB Mama Mia (The song is just so beautiful and concept suits them the most) 4. 100% Groove team deserves both wins, for the Prison match they won with their facial expression and overall presence. For the Mamma Mia match. they won because they were more stable. but in the end its all about which you liked more. Whether you vote because someone is in the time or which did better. Jiang Fan is one of the best performers and he got eliminated so early. Thanks, weird voters 🥲 And Beat's main team and Rhythm's bench team definitely got robbed so bad simply because they lack popularity compared to their opposite teams (yes, Woongki is popular, but Groove has Kyung-ho, Joohyung and Kijoong who also have existing fandoms).
