If your talking jewellery i would say try to keep it an even number of each kind or mainly one with very small hints of another but regardless when I do mixed colour I try to stick to a theme. For example butterflies so it would be plain chains butterflies and like plants and other nature related things if it ties in together it will look good together. As for gems any would work but you could try to match or see what complements the colour to your clothes or makeup rather than the jewellery itself, hope this helps! x
