Nah baking is such a skill lol. With cooking you can go by taste until it's perfect, but baking is a SCIENCE. There's so much trial and error to get a perfectly moist cake, the best chewy cookies, macarons that don't deflate, etc. It's a process lol. Especially if you have no prior practice.

Baking is chemistry, cooking is taste, I would argue that it's easier to go wrong with a cake, just by a gram of something more or less, completely changes the consistency or taste. Cooking to me is easier to fix if something goes wrong. (my opinion)
