This year the Nottingham Forest badge which incorporates the tree and the Trent celebrated its 50th birthday. The design was chosen after the Club and the local newspaper ran a competition. It its 50 years it has had minor tweaks but nothing major, the only addition has been the 2 stars that go above to represent the two European Cups
