My absolute favorite by Rance Allen. My kind of music. Spiritual with so much soul. I too am a gospel singer. This is what we sing and listened to as children, singing in church. It's what we base our music on as a group of 5 white girls but gifted with this same rythm and soul. We finally made our 1st CD in Nashville several years ago. Traveling to churches and concerts, singing on satellite radio, book and music store signing CDs. Gets in your blood, you'll always miss the singing, group, stage, people, energy and travel. But mostly miss the joy your music brings to others and the precious anointing that settles over the crowd.

I've often heard Rance Allen and he always came out with his high pitch sounds . Lovely 😍. In my family my cousin was a exact replica of him. As a young woman I had a vision about my uncle William and his wife Susie and I was with them in the vision and we was waiting on the banks of the river and suddenly we could see the boat com and it was going up stream. I step on board and put my hands out to help them on board and as it pull away to go up stream I left them on board but it appears like they were separated and yet on the same ship. I Left them and was on the bank waving and as the boat went up towards heaven I was there saying my goodbyes. 😊❤

It shows the measureless greatest in him to have the humility to even acknowledge the phenomenal & unique talent of Rance Allen. (Most artist who have yet to reach Joe's caliber are intimidated by other singers and pretend that they don't exist). I would have loved to hear Joe Ligon and Rance Allen sing together-I guess I'll have to wait for my ship to come in... Thanks for sharing.
