He saw characters he can now recognize/identify in future parts. he saw a villain death which is like his 3rd time or something seeing it so he might remember it once he sees the character. And a few others but not all. Also wanted him to be surprised about the stands, yeah he saw them before but since he was new to jojo then I figured he’d forget about that being a thing cuz of part 1 & 2.

Last time I was there, the reactions were very good. I cried remembering Caesar's end😭 There is an anecdote about a manga artist in Japan who asked his editor if he would like to draw a manga about a battle of abilities, and the editor advised him, "You should think that JOJO has already done most of the work on ability battles, so it will be tough” That's how I interpret Hirohiko Araki's thinking about various ideas and packing them into JOJO. In Japan, there are many people, both men and women, including celebrities, who profess their love of JOJO. There may be some exaggerations and inconsistencies, but I hope you will genuinely enjoy this strange adventure.👍🏻🌠

[OBLIGATORY GOLDEN KAMUY RECOMMENDATION] okay yeah, you're like me... you cracked the code early. maybe it's because my preferred media type is "chaos with a plot" but when my government mandated Jojo-Obsessed Friend That Gets You Into Jojos was first showing me the series, I remember there being a certain point where I was like "oh. this is un-spoilable material. shit doesn't even make sense in context, what am I worried about?" and yeah, I'm here to tell you you're correct. good instincts. Golden Kamuy isn't the same way in that department I guess... I still recommend it because of the chaos factor, but GK does have a very spoilable main plot, and a surprising amount of the wackadoo bullshit is actually integrated in a way that can have real story importance. that's honestly my favorite part though... sometimes I can't tell if the story is being stupid, or if the jokes are being smart. sometimes it's both at once, it's amazing. but oh my god, I feel like you're really going to love parts 4 and 5... if only because the chaos factor really is at its peak there, and the story gets a bit more twisty in a way I found to be really interesting. part 4 has a genuinely intriguing kinda mystery thriller vibe, and part 5 is weird af, but it's probably the most aesthetically beautiful one we've seen yet... it really benefits from including lots of Italian influences. EDIT: also, not to bug you or anything, but I am eagerly awaiting your next Vinland Saga reaction... maybe a 2 episode double feature next week? I'm just really loving the direction the story is heading and can't wait to talk about it!
