My Favorite book in 2023 was Lessons in Chemistry. Most of my career was spent working with arrogant idiot male engineers, so that book really rang true. I loved the Housemaid too. Thanks for sharing!

My favourite book in 2023 was lost without you loving and losing Tanya by vinnie Jones, it was so heartbreaking and very open I read the whole book within a day, I couldn't put it down once I started ❤❤

My favourite book hands down in 2023 was either Seed or Brother by Ania Ahlborn. They bridge the gap between thriller and suspense horror but the endings of both are so impactful and I think about them all the time. I also read The Housemaid a few weeks ago and loved it!!

Thanks for the recommendations, I know have so many more on my TBR list haha It's so hard to pick a favourite... I loved The Wife and The Window by Christian White - I read that one quite quickly and did not guess the twist. I also loved The Dry series by Jane Harper (there are 3). I couldn't decide which one I liked best!

I just started reading The Last One- last passenger on your list- and so far so good. I read only about 21 books last year and my favorite was wrong place wrong time. The twists at the end were just too good. I loved many on your list though too.

My favourite book was the silent patient though I read it like really late though the plot twist was really good and I was like super obsessed with Alex's books read the maidens too which was also good and waiting for his new book the fury which is releasing this year
