Not to brag! I just enjoyed these challenges but also have found them befuddlingly time-consuming as well. If you guys prefer that I post the book journal thing, let me know! If you wish to see the books mentioned in the video, check out this link and scroll down to '2023'! It was too large to fit in the description.

Very cool guy, very cool video :) One issue though! The second section where you discuss the books you read repeats once or maybe twice, I thought I was going mad or had accidentally rewound. 😆 Anyways, thanks for all the inspiration, I'm hoping to read a lot more this year and work my way through a variety of classics as well. Wondering if you have a goodreads profile I could check out? Greetings from Germany 💛

Thanks! I must've accidentally lumped in the same clip while editing and forgot to double check! I do have a Goodreads profile, but it's very nascent and bare. Once I start using it more I'll let you know.

4:46 I generally read or listen to about between 250 to 350 books a year for the last I don't know 15 to 20 years. I know I'm odd but for me not being able to read or listen to a book whenever I want or need is frustrating. and that tend to not thoroughly count for repeat readings or books that I end up not finishing that year. I'm also generally flipping between books. And even before i got to those numbers I was reading as much as possible for a long time. If the narrator are not doing a great job, and that I can say could be because they are not professional or they read it for another reason a lot of books I have listened to has been produced for blind, dyslexic and then the style of narration are to be as accurate In pronouncing and as little impact from the narrator on the book as possible. Trying to switch the speed of the book up can help with a less prefect narration or for other reasons like saving time or impatience to get further in to the book. Actually the reason I'm fairly good at English is because there was a bigger options of available books 20 years ago than in my native language (Swedish) so for a dyslexic bibliophile it was easier to consume books in different English languages than wait for more books to become available in Swedish.

Nice! I'm hoping to be able to maintain this kind of pace for a while with even more books next year since I've kind of turned it into a lifestyle/habit but I'm not sure. I also love to write and am in the process of a pretty big novel and I also am trying to balance my love of playing music. If I may ask: how do you balance other activities with reading?
