i read 50 pages a day for a WEEK -- here's what happened.

I tried reading 50 pages a day for a week! Here are my thoughts on the experience. Have you tried this before? How much do you typically read in a day? This was a fun challenge, and I think you should try it out (or come up with your own variation of it)!

love the physical tracker. I tried to add tabs to every chapter, see how many tabs have been finished is also satisfying and signaling how much has been done for the day. Great job, great video, Sam!

Do you consider audiobooks as reading? Some people do, some don’t. I listen to books as well as read both print and digital.

Yes I do!! I don’t listen to as many audiobooks these days, but they definitely count

Hey Sam, I have been doing 50 pages a day for a while now and it is awesome. Pre Covid I had a 40 minute train ride each way so that was my reading time. Since I now work from home I find it harder to squeeze in reading time. The 80 minute commute unfortunately gets taken up by other life tasks etc. Because of this I started my own 50 page a day challenge. It really helps. As you say some days I read more and some days less. It’s important to be kind to yourself on those days that it is less as it is not a failure but as you say life happens. Btw how is substituting going? How are you adjusting to life after college? Happy reading! As always great video! ✌️📚

Glad that you’ve had a good reading habit going, and are feeling motivated again :) very true- a days page count shouldn’t be the only measure of success in reading! Just accepted a full time job that starts in January and finished substituting! Thanks for watching 😊

My goal is to …..Read More in ‘24 ….and spend less time on my phone so that forest app sounds fun. I’m pretty sure I could hit 50 pages a day that way. I read slow but hoping my concentration will improve without the highway rush of tik tok and Instagram 😂😂
