Love this vlog. I love anything supernatural/paranormal. Top tier indeed. The Hacienda is on my list now, even after dropping a small fortune at the book store a few days ago. Oops. The Children on the Hill too. Thank you!

You've been forgetting to put the books you mention in your video description. I really liked that you did that because it meant that I could concentrate on the vlog and not have to be frantically trying to write every title down. Please bring that back.

I read Dead Silence earlier this year and it was so good. I agree that it is a good introduction to horror as I am not a horror reader but I am a big sci-fi reader. It is just a good crossover book.

Actually, there are credentials (requiring training and several hours of practice) for life coaches that they can pursue, and many states/countries require licenses on top of the credentials (and it is spreading as far as the states requiring licensure). It is actually an evidence-based field with research if practiced correctly. In fact, most companies that hire life coaches and offer them now require them to pursue certifications and/or licensure in order to be hired. Similar to when picking a mental health professional, it is up to the client to research if the person they go to has any credentials prior to paying money and working with them. Right now there are people who do not have licenses/certifications and have a business but that will probably change soon similar to how it changed for mental health professionals a few decades ago. This is due to the popularity and rise in need after the pandemic with people being able to provide a lower level of service (than full mental health treatment) when an individual needs assistance and the government making sure the public is protected from random people who do not have training.
@oliviareadsalatte2 жыл бұрын
Oh, wow, I had no idea! I’m very used to the old meaning of it where they aren’t legally required to have any kind of credentials for it. It’s good that they are tightening on that so that people can get the help/guidance they want/need!

Hey, Olivia! I loved your comments on Just Like Mother and I agree w everything. I totally identified w the MC and the idea of a cult behind motherhood (like you, I had many weird and unpleasant experiences w family and friends bc I didn't want kids - still don't) the difference being at some point I pretty much said F you, it's my life and I'm ok w my choices. I gave the book 4 stars. I wish more people could read and think about the cultish side of it. The Hacienda is on my TBR for October.

I feel like it's finally becoming (A BIT) more common for people to be able to talk about not wanting children without it being like, a whole thing. But it's crazy to me how people can be about it. I've always heard "Oh, you'll change your mind." Mm... I didn't think I want kids growing up and I'm about to turn 30 and it hasn't changed a bit. I mean, I'm ok with it, why are other people not? Lol. "Wherever you encounter creatures... I don't know, I don't go outside" 😂 Bahahaha, yes girl, same

I don’t know why people think it’s ok to ask such a personal question. Them: why don’t you have kids Me: I couldn’t get pregnant because my ovaries are dried up. Thanks for asking.
