They tried to relief them but could not. Maybe they could have given permission to surender but that is it. They had no fuel etc for break out anyway. They were to far in east and soviet attack was very fierce.

The author is churning out out too many episodes too quickly. Yes, there are repetitive redundancies from other episodes. Do you even read the comments about your work? How about a new episode every 2-3 days and you QC your work and improve the quality of your work before you lose your viewership.
