Mate at the end of the day you’ve gotta just be doing what makes you happy. You can’t fulfill yours and others expectations of things if you aren’t happy while you’re doing it. Be selfish, there’s nothing wrong with it. All I’ve learned from being a people pleaser is you sacrifice your own sanity and happiness for others to be happy with you. Just find what makes you happy brother and never look back. Everything in our lives is so insignificant in the long run that the only thing that should matter is keeping yourself healthy, physically and mentally. You’ve accomplished so much already, you should be proud and I’m sure your daughter is proud to call you dad. However soppy this may all sound, jus think you needa know a lot of us believe in you.

@MrKiko0023 ай бұрын
Randy, mate, two things. Of course I do not know your whole situation so I am going off of the info in the vlogs, but two things: 1. Do not spread yourself t0o thin. You will drown. You are doing too much and that will make you forget things, leave things, etc.. I know you think that you have to, to earn more and pay everything like the house, flat, business expenses, paychecks, everything, but please do not spread yourself too thin. Make decisions on what is best for you first and then what makes the most monetary sense. If you have too much things to do, do not post a vlog. If you need to vent, vent on the vlog, there is nothing to lose. Sit down and really calculate what makes best sense to you, moving back north, staying in London, etc.. Go off of what makes you happy first. 2. Systems over everything. You can not out organize a good system. If you put good systems in place with like using Notion, Calendars ( google or notion ), and like have separate pages to organize everything, PokeRand, Ace, Personal, Vlog Channel, Personal, etc... it will be so much easier. With so much going on, you will not outwork a good system. There are people who do this and there are also templates ready to use. I do not think that in these kind of days you realize but your vlogs are such an inspiration. No matter who you are, we are all going through some shit. Some more, some less... But the vlogs, at least for me are a good like grounding space, too see that everyone is going through stuff and we are all in this together. I hope a lot of the things you have going on Randy, resolve soon, so you can fully focus on the things that make you happy !! Much Love !

Randolph from what I have seen is that you constantly try to blame things on yourself when actions have consequence. If you have to much pressure from everything you do maybe you should more focus on yourself, take some time off to get the priorities right. Nobody except from you to do vlogs every week or make vids every day. The most important thing is to be happy and besides that to take responsibility in the choices that you make along the way. A tip would be to in the future not telling everything about the divorce. That is between you and you’re family. It’s important to take all the privacy because you will be judged by many people for the things that you are telling about the divorce besides that talking about it makes the vids a little down and can put an stigma on you but also on Laura and your child.

Glad to see you coping with all of the personal stuff going on in your life rn Randy! Sounds incredibly stressful for everyone involved and I hope to see it sorted ASAP. In regards to the podcast, I have noticed a dip in the more recent episodes (if i’m being brutally honest), and I’m not sure if that’s due to headspace or content in general. I LOVE What’s Good and I’ve been a listener for years - I can imagine moving away would make filming even more difficult. Is there any way you could film twice a month instead, so there’s more to talk about when you’re both there, and it’s easier to commute for? You could potentially introduce different versions (like the Dark eps with John/Nick etc) to fill in the missing weeks? I’m not sure what the right answer is, but I just hope you know there are still lots of people who love listening to you guys, and whatever is best for the podcast i’m sure we’ll all back it! 🙏🏻

Hey Randy. I think you should leave London, too. Seems sensible for your financial situation. What do you actually need London for anyway? Looks to me like it's the podcast and the social life? As others have said, look to move somewhere in between London and Nottingham. You should be able to travel to London once a week or fortnight to record a couple of podcasts at a time and also be flexible enough to work with Simon's busy schedule. I obviously don't know your mortgage figures, but if it's about 1,500 a month going to 3k+, then just moving out of London will cover that. You should definitely be able to get a mortgage 4.5-5% fixed at the moment. Don't go anywhere near 8%! As you are renegotiating your mortgage now, try to pay off more of the capital and get a mortgage that lets you regularly do this. Maybe Laura could work on the capital and you could focus on covering the interest? Maybe you're too proud, but it might also be worth asking a friend for a 0% loan to help you pay the capital. I'm sure they would help you if you asked. Having said that, I can appreciate borrowing money from friends is often not the best idea but you definitely have some unique friends. Good luck, get some good rest (try not to stay up past midnight anymore), and enjoy seeing your daughter as much as possible 🙂 ✌️

Big Randy, have you considered moving up north but about half way or about an hour away from London, just because you will be visiting London more often. SO much cheaper and it will also fix the issue of driving London to Notts and needing to charge the car during the trip. Also do you ever consider flights from Birmingham or something closer? Places to look to live, Leamington Spa, Rugby, MK, Coventry.

Mate another way to save money and more important time, is to change cars! Down side from the Tesla to a reliable Ford Focus, VW Golf, or a Corsa. That way you don't need to worry about bloody charging and wasting an hour plus waiting and driving to the superchargers, and you'll instantly save money on the down side, perhaps 20k Euros

They should let you be the 8th man, you make the sidemen videos better
@mauritslambers95133 ай бұрын
Nope you can’t do that. Sidemen have more replacements but a 8 member no.
