I'd love to be able to do rebuilds like this, MLB contracts and stuff just confuse the shit out of me. I'm also never sure how to tell when those random 72-74 overall 28 year olds are players you're supposed to sign (like the RP signed in this video). Like, how am I supposed to know they play well in sim?

Look at the hits and walks per nine and just do a 5 year sim where you just look at who does good so when you do your rebuilds use the guys who do well in that 5 year sim

I watched this video solely to see the scores in your simulated games. In my simulation I’ve got guys with 50 contact batting over .300. Most teams have at least one batter with a .400+ average and at least half of the lineup at .300+. I’m seeing scores like 34-12 in simulated games. I don’t know how in the world this is happening. What settings are recommended for realistic stats and scores?

Typically a Baseball Draft Pick will be in the farm system(Minor League Affiliates) for 3-6 years to build up the travel, 162 game schedule in 180 days. And to build Major League reactions and timing. Also, the lower overalls are so they can grow into their potential
