In August 2020, Lyon beat Manchester City to reach the semi-finals of the Champions League.
Three years on, they are bottom of Ligue 1.
Despite their catastrophic current campaign, the decline has been steady but sure.
Successful transfers have been few and far between, and academy graduates have left the club for large fees but have not been replaced and the club is being heavily criticised by the clubs Ultras.
They are an example of how not to run a top-tier modern football club.
Today, that ends as I will take charge of this failing French club in FM24, rebuild them and turn things around with the ultimate goal being to add to the 7 French titles they currently have.

I have always made content throughout my professional career, however, it has always been for someone else. In May 2020 I decided that it was time to create something for myself. Interesting video HG! Was quite fun to watch as I just started a Lyon save some days back. Hopefully, I get more backing from the board than you did😄. Also, have you thought about doing a thing where at the end of these rebuids, you show the development of the wonderkids you bought that turned out great e.g. baturina? I feel it would be a nice addition. Great video once again

Regarding cherki, I’ve done a Lyon Save as well and honestly he’s only good playing at 10/AM I’ve found . He’s really poor when playing on the wings or as MC

I’m doing a Lyon save too so far in the year 2026 I did a league and champions league double last season Ronny Bardghji 40 G/A bargain 9.5 mil, Moukoko scoring a goal every 2nd game only 7 mil, Diomande cost a lot more 36 mil but has arguably changed my whole defence, in 26/27 atm let’s see how far I can go
