It must NEVER be boring as a blades fan! After multiple promotions and then relegations... the club will find itself in the Championship next season. In truly embarrassing style, they finished bottom of the premier league after selling their best player the previous year, and now getting a manager back they had previously sacked! Crazy things going on, but the team are now looking to steer in the right direction, and go for the Champions League under my ownership!

Sheffield United Football Club. Many people don't know this but they are one of the 24 clubs who have won an English top flight title back in 1898. They actually had played 41 consecutive seasons in the top division from 1893 to 1934. Having said that, this club has some horrible lows, they even went down to the 4th division in 1981. To be fair, they shouldn't have been in the 4th tier in the first place because back then, it was only 2 points for a win, literally before 3 pts for a win was a thing. Had it been 3 pts for a win, they would not have gone down. Think about it, winning 14 and drawing 12 out of 46 games usually should be enough to at least survive relegation but not in that case for them. They also achieved back-to-back promotions from the 3rd tier to the top flight once (1989 then 1990) [To be honest, I don't know why The Irish Guy thought they achieved back-to-back promotions not that long ago because they got promoted from League One in 2017, then played two seasons in the Championship before getting promoted again in 2019]. They're gonna start the 2024/25 Championship campaign with -2 points. I think that could be the difference whether they make the playoffs or not because I don't think they are one of the heavy favorites for automatic promotion.
