If I am not wrong, the Romanian Liga 1 has a rule about having a young player (u19, I think) in the starting eleven for every league game. That's why that "bad" player was in a lot of the games.

CSA Steaua has and always been the multi-sport club of the Romanian army. In 1998, the Romanian FA made a law that non-private clubs can't play in the first division of Romania (because of money). So Steaua created a non-profit called "AFC Steaua" from their football branch. AFC Steaua was allowed to use Steaua's brand and history but they never HAD it. In the early 2000s a businessman named Gigi Becali came to AFC Steaua as "sponsor" saying that he'll save the club from debts. In 2003, AFC Steaua dissolved from debts and Becali created his own team "FC Steaua". FC Steaua requested CSA Steaua to use their brand and history but they got rejected. FC Steaua continued to use Steaua's brand and played in the first division. In 2011, CSA Steaua sued FC Steaua for identity theft and in 2014 they forced FC Steaua to change their emblem. In 2015, CSA Steaua tried to re-enter into football from the fifth division but the Romanian FA rejected it. In 2017 FC Steaua changed their name to "FC FCSB". CSA Steaua also entered in the fourth tier and got accepted. Fans have been split scince, with half of them called "Peluza Sud" going to Steaua and "Peluza Nord" going to FCSB. The history and trophies of the club is split like this: 1947-1998, 2017--CSA Steaua București, 1998-2003- AFC Steaua București, 2003-2017- nobody as FCSB used Steaua's brand illegaly and 2017-FCSB. Steaua has 21 titles while FCSB has 1. FCSB fans say they have 27 titles because they use our history, AFC Steaua's history and the history of "FC Steaua", they use it unofficially as no official memebr of the club cannsay they won 27 titles or the Champions Leauge. Steaua is now in the second league as public clubs can't promote to the first league and FCSB still play illegaly in the first league.

Yeah just how I said it… haha I saw how complex the whole situation is. I stand by what I said in that ultimately it’s the fans who are losing out
