Rebuilding in Hoop Land is actually one of the easiest rebuilding in any basketball game I've seen. You just trade your small/reserve peices to teams that does not have an angry face when you offer the player and try to extract as many picks from them as you can. Then trade your bad starter/6th man in additional with those picks and BOOM, you got a 4.5-5 star player. Just do that and you get a superteam with atleast 4 star player coming off the bench. Also keep your roster at 10 players only to maximize cap space. Tried that startegy in the dafult Hoop League with the worst team that has literally all 1-2 star players and then become a dynasty within 2 seasons.

i mean i do agree that team building in this game and 2k for that matter isn’t too hard. you can trade multiple role players and future assets for star level players and pair those players with role players for superstars. you see that in 2k as well as here but it isn’t as much about doing a “challenge” because if that was the case it would be HYPER realistic and while i try to not take advantage of the CPU because that’s no fun, the sim engine, regardless of how stacked your team is, had a mind of its own 😤

Hey grego big fan here I have a question. So whenever I start a new season it says free agency is starting and the players I wanna keep are traded to another team, is there a way to keep them in your team without being traded from free agency? Thanks man

appreciate it and in the begging there is a small part of free agency that begins for teams to add role players or release players to stay under the cap. you shouldn’t be losing anyone in that phase of the offseason. only after the entire season is done will the real 3 weeks of free agency begin

@@imgregosorry let me put it in a easier way. When the season begins it says day 1 of free agency and it takes some of my guys from my team. Is there a way to avoid that and keep that guy on the team but next to there contract it says expired and I wanna increase there contract.
