I also heard similar noises the first time, which came from the timing belt. The solution was not to tighten the belt. The tensioner spring has enough tension. And I used the OEM belt, because most reinforced belts make noise. and such noises do not let me sleep peacefully 😅 Maybe that will help you. Hope you upload some more skyline content ! 🎉

i dont know if this can cause any issues later , just wanted to let you know whats in the manual. you should have installed the thermostat so that the little nipple facing upward. Really enjoyed the video :)

Oh shit dude your thermostat is upside down, the jiggle valve is supposed to be at the top so trapped air can get through. (oops saw someone else caught it nvm me lmao)

I can’t believe I didn’t know that. Thank you for letting me know! So far the car has stayed at operating temp just fine. However if I do have any problems with it I’ll definitely switch it around
