It might be a thing of having less of those "locked out" stat blocks. Like they can hit a higher max. And maybe the are more likely (or guaranteed) to have an Impact+ Ddv Trait

@@Nimreitz Take him and keep him at QB. Start him as a Freshman and get 3-4 years of dynamic dual threat QB play while adding a bunch of playmakers through recruiting and the portal that want to come and play with him. He'll also be able to recruit more QBs that want to follow in his footsteps. That's the quickest way to turn an offense around.

Love the videos! Gem usually means that their skill set is a star above their rating i.e. a 4-star gem will have the stats of a 5-star recruit. The opposite is true of a bust.

A gem means whatever their star level adds a star. Example: you’re recruiting a 4 star, he gets Gem, he’s similar to a 5 star recruit (like Road to Glory, 79+ rating).
