Recruiting is the main tactic you have to use to win a championship with schools like Troy. For you Troy, I recommend that when you're on the recruiting board, you change the filter to "my pipeline" instead of "recommended or any. These "pipeline" players are a lot easier to get to commit to a smaller or lower prestige program like Troy. Also remember to immediately offer scholarships to any player you want to go after and for players that you really want, you want to make sure you are using as many recruiting actions (like sending the house for example) as possible until you are in first for that prospect. Then once you are in the lead you can kinda back off a little bit and use some of the hours you were using for that player to help go all in for another guy. It's pretty confusing at first but I think you'll get the hang of it Troy. Don't forget about the transfer portal either, best way to pick up game ready players.

Keep playing this game bro here are some tips for recruiting: Your supposed to aim for like atleast 18 recruits every year. The stars 1-5 are depended on how good the recruit is 5 is best 1 is worst And if a recruit gets a red heart then they are a bust and if a recruit gets a green gem they are a gem. I would recommend just putting recruiting on auto because it honestly takes dedication

College Football 25 Recruiting tips Advance search *Interest in top schools top 5 *first you want with recruits is often them a scholarship for every player on your recruiting board *Go through scouting process for every player on your recruiting board *Week 0 is whenever you can start to put some of these recruiting actions into players send the house on top 12 prospect the goal is to learn more the player on the right side of the screen until we can eventually do this hard sell. If you're a smaller school you might only have 400 hours to send a week and once you set these actions for these players it'll save like that until you remove it so it could be there for four or five weeks. Check every single week as well is that right side of the screen once you have three check marks in one of those categories that's when you go in and start doing these hard sell also have to be in their top 5. Keep an eyes on these top 5 stage because once all those things on the right panel are filled out we'll know three main motivations and that's when you go in with the hard sell and find the combination that has all three of them involved. When players hit the top 5 in all threes of those interests because available that's when you switch you switch them over from send the house to the hard sell most of the time there is a pitch that's going to cover all three of their. You can only put 4 players a week on a visit you have to be very strategic about them but what's nice about these BYE weeks you can't lose so you're not going to lose points from not winning a game. When scouting most positions you don't know what you're going to get but with Special teams players you will see that 2 stats that are important. The later that we get into the season the less recruiting changes. Soon after the college football playoffs are over the transfer portal will open up. What you can take away from portal from this is the number of players a school loses varies a ton. How you would recruit them is very similar to a high school player offer them a scholarship you're also able to add on actions like sending the house immediately and if they started in your top 5 you can also schedule them for a visit. This transfer period only goes on for 4 weeks so things are going to happen very quick. You want around 23-31 per recruiting class. You have to get rid of players you don't need because roster is size is full gotta get it down to 85. You will 2 options encourage player to transfer or dismiss player X.
