Nicole accompanied you on your trip to see the Dior exhibit at the Royal Ontario Museum. She also helped you try to build a T Rex model after you both got drunk. And she was in the background for a brief second or two in one of your antiquing trips, but I can't remember which one.

Im sure youve already solved this mystery but it so reminds me of an episode of a supernatural series that I watched on the Disney Channel back in the 90s called So Weird. The episode was about Doppelgangers and Parallel Universe selves. The main family receives a bizarre letter from a strange mail man in the mail that is from the girl who they had taken in as a part of their family so she could go on tour with Mackenzie Phillips (Molly in the show). Well.. that girl was still living there. She never moved or ran away BUT her Doppelganger did run away to Washington State. I mean the letter was cryptic and bizarre just like yours. Some how the universes crossed over and the parallel universe Doppelganger "came home" to see her friends again and see Molly. The family is so confused as to why Annie is writing to them from Washington and why shes dressed goth and not her perky self. Annie asks the original girl from the show if this is actually a thing where there could be 2 of 1 person and she responds its a doppelganger. If you meet yourself. One of you will disappear. So dont meet the other you. The Doppelganger reads the messages and is trying to get the other Annie to disappear by meeting her. Its just so bizarre how you got this random post card with no name or indication of who it could be and you dont know anyone at the time in California. Had I seen this video back when you posted I wouldve been like its so from a parallel universe and its so your Doppelganger sending themselves a letter from California so theyd have it when they got back. But im such a weirdo like that. That I believe in all that creepy shit and parallel universes. 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Sounds like something like my dad would do..when my parents honeymooned in Virgina Beach he gave a stranger some maill who was headed to Cuba to decieve everyone into believing they honeymooned in Cuba back in the day..sorry long story longer lol

los angeles international airport, chances are she crossrouted through there, stopped at some place, got a post card and sent it to you, as the zip code, chances are it lines up with the airport, as the zipcode attached to it is 900 09 and it says LA 900, best bet, giftshop via a rerouted flight, and the hung over time span of one of those flights would explain the possesed thing via a lack of REM sleep and running on fumes, as its like a 16 hour flight across the US to japan and the comment attached to it as she passed through it plus you can check the date based upon the time she told you she was going through there
