I RECREATED an AI's layout in InDesign

This is nice to get ideas for single spreads or even individual pages, but to do the whole book you might run into issues. What would be cool is if you had the copy with headlines and captions and images and told the AI “give me four possible layouts for these assets. That would be awesome. I think we will get there. Great “proof of concept” thanks.

Tell A.I to develop a special offer with 40 products on it, with their minimum quantities, product codes and to find the correct photos of them on the marketing drive and to make all the 50 changes afterwards requested by management. Until that day, we are 120% safe. A.I can make pretty pictures and do layouts, but it is missing something you have, a brain. It will alway be a tool. "A camera doesn't take pictures, you do."

it wont, you have to still be creative and still manage this tool. I love using it but everyone's creative work is unique so I wouldnt worry as long as you remain authentic and make the tool work for you not work for the tool if that makes sense.

Hey Melanie! Thanks for your comment. Midjourney has a process where you can open the image generated in a web browser and you can "save image as" from there. midjourney images are not high resolution - 300ppi at 1024px is only 3.4 inches. Filling the width of a letter sized page looks terrible at 100% - can someone explain what I'm missing? How is this even presented as an option for print?

Well great job copying but believe me, after 25 years making magazines, it takes less time to use your own creativiy from zero than copying any other layout made by AI, a client or whoever trying to so the same.
