I remember a few things from my time playing JPOG. Your starting Dinosaurs depended on the Starting digsite you got. IIRC, one digsite had Acrocanthosaurus, Torosaurus, and Parasaurolophus. One had Dilophosaurus, Dryosaurus and Camarasaurus One had Edmontosaurus, Triceratops and Pachycephalosaurus. And the last one had Albertosaurus, Ankylosaurus and Pachycephalosaurus.

I think adding rivers and mountains is must have for jpog-like park. Edit: also consider using building mods that allow for paths to build under other building so that the plaza looks more square-ish, aswell as using the staff break room as the building which was used for people to rest.
