OOOOOOOOH. The big platforms allow you to build above non-solid objects. So you can build until just below the platform height, place the non-solid buildings, the plop the platform down instead of building right on top of it like previous floors. You recreated a hypothetical structure in a game that doesn't even vaguely model reality correctly, and it worked out. Cool story.

I was excited to hear about a beaver game. I was disappointed that it wasn't about constructing a real dam.

I kind of want to hear at the end of the next Timberborners, "Peace, Love, and 🎶that's what's up with the tim-ber-borners!🎶"

I don't think I would have forgiven you if you hadn't fixed the straightness of the river. Well done.

The large rowhouse is the most efficient, spacewise: 1 beaver per unit volume. The barracks and the small rowhouse house 5 beavers every 6 units, while the huge barracks 8 beavers every 9 units

Imagine how fast pollution irl would occur in a city like that. That water would be so dirty in no time.

I just woke from a dream where I was at a coffee shop and the guy next to me in the queue asked me what the "Architect's Slice" was (I have clearly been watching too much RCE recently). It would appear that such a confection doesn't exist, however that shouldn't stop us from speculating what that might entail. Discuss

First time I saw an ad for the line I thought it was going to be an ad for a new dystopia movie or video game. Then I realized it was an actual ad for a place people wanted to build and my reaction was "You've got to be kidding me, this is gonna be a disaster." At least in Timberborn it can work, slight consolation for when it fails miserably irl.

The Line is hilarious. It would also turn into a mass death event so, so easily if the water supply were disrupted, etc. I wouldn't live there if you paid me; I'd take the money and move out ASAP.
