In the 78th episode of Demystifying Design, I'll be redesigning Twitter (now X), the often-named "internet town square".
The goals of this redesign were to make it easier for users to:
1. Browse my feed to see interesting posts.
2. Have a chat with Grok AI.
3. Post a post.
4. Interact with other posts.
5. View trending topics.
6. Get follower recommendations.
7. See new posts when they are available.
8. Send messages to other users.
9. Check my notifications.
10. Manage my account.
This entire redesign took me about 5 hours to complete (over 2 days). Hope you enjoy!

One of the worst parts of the Twitter UI is getting to the comments section of a post. I always want to click on the comments icon with the number of comments on it, but instead it just goes to the add comment section. It's especially bad for image-only posts. At least for posts with words there are the words to click on.
