I once chased someone with insane energy like three km straight up, directly into their flawless energy trap, using the booster, slotted in on their six, getting a perfect kill. They were understandably flabbergasted. I knew this plane was good when I feel invincible in it despite being not particularly skilled. Was surprised you hadn’t made a video on it yet. I like using the booster with my flaps down and throttle cut to rip my nose around at low speeds insanely fast in a close 1v1. Very satisfying.

If you just got this plane and feel like the performance is really bad despite the rocket fuel, fear not. The engine modifications for the plane improve both the jet engine and the rocket boosters, so they are much more necessary than for normal jets, also the cover and wing repair modifications are really important since they improve the MER of the 262 massively compared to other planes. Playing stock 262s with rocket fuel feels really terrible since they are heavier than the A-1A at a higher BR.

Yes, the 262s are underpowered, I'd recommend the f80A if you don't understand jets yet, if you have knowledge and want to learn how to apply it go for the f84 or f2h2, generally American planes are the easiest the higher you go, while the 262s are overteired and the rocket planes are more for just fun than accually learning, also it will get frustrating if you don't know what youre doing in the C1a and C2B

The only thing I didn't like about this 262 is that there is no marker or gauge that tells you when that booster is going to run out when in AirRB unless you choose to keep going into the pilot cockpit view in a match. Thats the only thing that this and the other one with the rocket boosters was a lil tough when a enemy is on ur @$$ and all of a sudden the booster go putt putt cough cough Plahhhh EMPTY ......

Defyn, try out the stock MG151 belts. They are utter dog sh*t. I put 40 rounds in a P51 from behind and I didn't even get a crit, just damage of fuselage. Happened two time with me when I was flying stock He 162.
