To fix the house maybe you should add a room over the garage by exactly mimicking the left side and the middle piece thats slopped u can always make it slopped forward and not to the right..this can add symmetry to the house and more rooms.. 19:28 to look at what i am talking about

i actually rlly like draes home styles. he thinks outside of the box and it’s fun to watch. every other person i’ve seen play these games just do it cookie cutter and it gets boring. he also takes the time to furnish the rooms and really get things done unlike a lot of other people on youtube who rush

I recommend changing the color of the beams to wood, darker wood or redwood might look best. (So no birch or light wood) Or change it to type of metal with a slight gloss/shine. You should want it to stand out due to how it was placed, right now it's like you're trying to hide it by blending it into the walls (unsuccessfully).

Alternatively... (this is more work but might actually make the outside look better). To solve the wierd beam issue you could add a floor above the garage. Do this by deleting the current roof, add a floor that the garage door attaches to. Then put a small roof just on that, matching the original house. Then add walls in the back, again matching the original house (essentialy expanded bedroom), but with the fence side being shorter. Then add a new roof on that. Or just have that second floor not exist in the back, making the garage short in front and tall in back. Like a backwards L shape if looking from the side. Remember, you can tile on the ground/grass. So you could have your garage lowered by one tile if so desired.

Gotta say, corkboard looked kinda strange at first since it won't really hold much, but more i think about it, more i like the idea. It's no pegboard, but would work well as sound deadening around power tools. Plus that lighter wood-y look is kinda nice above a darker wooden workbench.

Here are some things I believe are wrong with this house so far. (Please do not take this as an offense, it is just my personal opinion, and merely suggestions.) Starting with the garage: -You should move the back door to either the left or right side, to maybe put something beside it. -The two windows next to the door make the design look amateur. -Instead of windows on the wall, add skylights. (if they're in the game) -Make sure everything is aligned, it you want it to be symmetrical. -The marble tile floor does not fit a garage, more like a bathroom. -You should add more textures on the walls, or even a feature wall, so everything doesn't look all blocky. -Adding the back door to the left or the right side of the room will maybe allow a little platform with a ladder above it, maybe for more storage. -To fix the garage door rail issue, layer a flat roof on a slanted one, that way it will make it so the roof is flat on the inside and slanted on the outside. (removing the platform with a ladder aspect) -You could possibly have the sloping roof slanted towards the left wall of the house, because a lot of modern homes are not symmetrical. -The blue walls make the room look sad and dreary due to the untextured roofing and the window sill colours. -The French glass door leading into the house should preferably not be see-through. -I think instead of the uplights on the struts, put some hanging industrial lights to make the room feel more open. Apart from that, I think the workshop tables are very clean and smart, and same with everything else, including the car.
