HI Alexandria, You are right! Shelley, originally known as the singing clam in a cage, is SpongeBob's pet scallop. She lives in a small birdcage that hangs from the ceiling of SpongeBob's bedroom. I don't think that this calendar was worth it. Some of the tiny sizes are samples we can get at the store. Can't wait to see what is next!! Hugs and blessings.

Finally, the one I've been waiting for! This is the advent calendar I chose for christmas because it was one of the only ones available in New Zealand. It cost $280 NZD and I felt mega ripped off opening it. The 2ml lip products SENT ME. I've been counting down for this commentary!

I got jnto beauty subscription about a year ago. I counted how many benefit mascaras I now have, 27, I kid you not! My mates I'd has one of every one they do and I have a box with almost another full set ready for her. The roller lash full size and the silver they're real one for daytime use. Be careful putting them together in your make up bag as jm sure they're mating!

I personally prefer the little mini mascaras as I don’t wear it enough and I know you’re supposed to discard them a couple months after opening, even if I were to ignore that I would never use em enough to go through a full size one..

It's very dangerous to expose germs to your eyes, and while you probably don't actually *need* to throw them out that often, I bet it's based on some sort of clinical trial somewhere where they tested to see how long it would take before a used mascara tube would grow bacteria. The companies just don't want to get sued so they're telling you to be more cautious than necessary lol. Just like best by dates on most food

​@CookieMonster1390 it's probably more of a safety thing, the labels on things that will go in or on your body are always overcautious, like on food too. Bacteria can grow readily in damp spaces and it's dangerous to put that on your eye, so the suggested time to throw it out is probably based on a lab study they did somewhere that measured how long it would take before the first bacteria began to grow on a used mascara. The company doesn't wanna get sued on the off chance that somebody gets an eye infection lol.

I will say the tight and toned toner is my favorite daytime toner. That tiny amount of liquid goes a long way because the pump is a foaming pump, so it takes a tiny amount of the liquid and foams it up to make it easier to apply while using very little product at a time. When you said you didn’t know they did skincare I immediately was like gurrrrl I know you have gotten this toner in a subscription bag/box because I did as well lol

My husband is off today, he just heard you say the box was nice & that you could keep it to put stuff in it. I guess he thought I was the only one who thought that way 😂😂 because I always tell him not to get rid of my boxes on recycling day because they are good boxes 😂😂 thank you for saying that because now it doesn't seem like I'm just a hoarder😂😂 the magnetic mascara is honestly probably my least favorite of every mascara I've ever tried. Bad Gal Bang is one of my absolute favorites though. The calendar was eh but benefit as a brand is kinda eh, they don't really ever come out with anything really exciting or new, just different versions of what they already have. Benefit was my 1st prestige brand makeup I ever got. They had the BEST cream shadows and let’s not talk about their bullet lipsticks. I still have some that I love (shhh, they are not expired in my brain). They must be at least 10yrs old.

I think the tight 'n' toned packaging may have been a combo of cost saving and packaging availability, At least in Canada we are still having huge issues with certain container sizes not being available and as such have a huge shortage in certain products. Just for example 1.5L bottles for several major brands of sparkling wines not being available meant that we were over a year without the ability to order them in at all. So it may be a case of them putting a new label on the packaging that they could actually get he foaming top for.

I’ve always wondered that too. I read something years ago that said all mascaras really are basically/essentially the same, and it’s the wand that makes them behave differently. The tip was thoroughly wash and save your fave wand from your fave prestige brand, and use it in a drugstore dupe and you’ll see the same basic results. I haven’t tested the theory, but honestly wouldn’t be surprised if it’s true!

The magnetic mascara to hold lashes is a godsend to someone like myself that’s allergic to glues, adhesives, tapes, bandages, etc, lol. Imagine how daunting life can get at times with this strange allergy. I often wonder if that’s what drove this product into existence? Lashes aren’t nearly as necessary as other applications of adhesives, lol, but if you want to wear them daily, yeah, it’s a bit of a big deal. Band aids on me leave what look like a burn. I get a raised, red area that gets a bit itchy and the adhesive is really hard to remove from my skin. Thankfully, many labs now have this roll of adhesive free tape that holds. Love it! After my breast cancer surgery the surgeon completely ignored my allergen alert and slapped a giant bandage over the surgical site to be removed after 24 hours 🙄. I was sent home immediately after the operation and took a long nap, as you can imagine one would. I woke up to my chest, neck and part of my face full of hives! They were spreading all over fast and my throat was starting to feel funny so my husband and I removed that bandage and I took some Benadryl. It worked. As weird as it is, it exists 🤷🏻‍♀️.

I feel you. i am sorry that your surgeon ignored your alerts after such a live altering operation. Hope you are doing well. My allergy level might not be as severe, but I react to adhesives as well, woke up from abdominal surgery for a gallbladder removal and had nice red welts and blisters coming out of the edges of the dressings they used. I love the slick to itself instead of me bandages they have now and the paper tape. The adhesive on the papertape is the only one that doesn't meke me itchy and red.

Nexcare was the only adhesive I could use until I turned 35 and my skin miraculously stopped giving me welts from ANY adhesive. Even wrapping gifts caused my fingertips to blister. Thankful that part of my life is over.

Speaking of trees. Look up a Gingko Biloba tree. We have a male Gingko Biloba tree in our backyard. We bought our home 3 yrs ago. We happen to be on the Halloween parade route in our town and a family member of one of the previous owners (house was built in 1900, you would love the original pieces in this home). But a previous owner had bought the tree as a sapling for his wife. It was her favorite tree. It’s now over 50 years old. The leaves are bright green in the summer, fall they turn yellow and all fall off at the same time. My SO put a beautiful hand made swing under it for me. I even found a lady at a local vintage market who makes necklaces with itty bitty leaves in them and I managed to get one of a tiny Gingko Biloba leaf.
