I love the game bro fr but I had a convo with some friends about 20 people in my discord I know that’s not that much but I seen a lot of games die and I think if u update ur game a lot like add new tricks that won’t happen but also we were all saying if you add online play it will take your game to the next level and compete against game even like the new skate4. it doesn’t have to be online where we play with people around the world yet it can be online at least where u can I invite a friend to your game session. Truly happy to see YOU so happy! You earned it! How about a weekly spot channel next to game-clips channel and you can pick a couple videos to play after each time your video is over. So like top 3 or top 5 so it's not too long of your favorite clips of the weekly spot. And have another channel for weekly-spot-announcement where you can post a picture of the next spot. Maybe a bit later if more people have easy custom map it would be cool to include custom maps once in a while too and that way also shine some light on the map creators or porters maybe

@@kylespevak6781 mirrors edge is a first person parkour game, its supposed to be realistic parkour (to an extent). this is a freerunning game, you do flips and tricks, the goal is to be as stylish as possible, rather then get from point A to point B as fast as possible. that is the difference between parkour and freerunning. parkour is "get from point A to point B as fast as possible", freerunning is "get from point A to point B with as much style as possible" :)

@gelo888 They have already implemented great parkrour systems years ago as for their last ac ppl are still making parkour videos from that game. It's pretty good, not as detailed but Bordeaux did a very good job with what they had. Ppl are quick to hate on the company ubisoft is and just as quick to forget the amazing work their individual studios have accomplished.

Yes the forward line is great but if you want to go back and forth to be more techy or do like a wall flip etc. it's not quite there yet, maybe in the future

@@griffithneumark688i think there are no real vertical wallruns without ledge because he wants it to be somewhat representative of real parkour, where on a vertical wall you have virtually no leverage and you'll probably only be able to take two, three steps max. For me just magically sticking to flat walls, would ruin the immersion a bit. That's just my two cents, let me know what you think edit: oh wait, you're prabably talking about vertically running UP a wall!! I thought you meant running horizontally along a vertical wall. Yeah nah i agree that you should be able to do a wall-up against any wall that is reachable, regardless of there being a ledge. Sorry for the confusion if that's what you meant haha

Ive been watching the videos of a youtuber playing it, really like it a lot. One idea for a move i had, when youre running off a roof towards a pole, instead of just sliding down it being your only option, add in an option to grab it with your hands and swing out and spin around to continue the line at a different angle, so it keeps up your momentum and trick counter. Hope that makes sense.

I love this game! It's so professional, I can't believe it's your first game. I would love a challenge where there is only just a finish location and you can take any path to get there so it encourages you to find shortcuts and kinda freelance a path. Also I know you probably won't add this, but if there was like a map with enemies or something the parkour system in this game would work so well with just like a Glock in your hand so you could get some epic kills while flipping lol. I wish every game dev were like ya! as for my suggestion, I think you could add an area for custom maps, and an extra option in the customization area for clothes, like an extra button, cus it kinda sucks having to sacrifice a clothe or the advanced tutorial for those...

Its fun bro its fun, needs a lot of work but I'm really into it. Just needs a replay feature so you can see your lines at different angles or switch between third and first person. Also needs a more advanced tutorial cuz there are still tons of moves I've seen in videos that I have no idea how to do because there's no real legend or tutorial to show it, seen a lot of people complain ab there not being enough moves but I know that is just cuz they haven't even seen/learned the advanced ones.

I haven’t been able to play yet and I’m hoping to be able to afford it soon, but I think a really cool progression system would be something similar to a career mode, similar to how Skate and games like that handle it. Not some like crazy involved story or anything but just like a guide character that helps through the tutorial and gives you goals to unlock new customization options or Easter egg customizations. Career modes are definitely something that help new players get into/find their own groove in the game as they learn more tricks and combos they can do in it! Obviously I’m just one voice but it’s such a helpful feature for new players, and I can imagine it would take a lot of work since your on your own but with the quality that you’ve brought with the game already, I know you can do it!

The last parkour game i played that was purely focused on the free-running aspect was "Free Running" on the PSP. While i didn't end up trying parkour out (i'm a big weenie), that game (+ the movie Yamakasi) made me so interested in this world. I was so excited when this game was announced. This game is really fun i've been enjoying just messing around with small challenges. From someone who does freerunning, the main thing we do is lines that connect really well and have flow. Id love to see an improvement in the small movements like a thief off a ledge after landing for example or a kong on the floor as a different option instead of a roll when wanted. another thing that would be great would be to use the vaults to give you a boost and land on a different obstacle like dash precision, kong precision, reverse precision. (This game is coming out really good, just giving feedback :) ). Id say talking to the parkour community and watching videos would help a lot but i'm sure you already do that.

This game is fire! I really like how transparent you are about your developement process. Take your time and make sure to get some sleep. It is crazy that one person can deliver a parkour system which is more fun as some triple A studios. That said it would be nice to have some kind of "ghost traceur" mode - while you create a line you could hit a record button and if you reset to the session marker you can see the ghost dummy run your previouse line - so it could be a chase or just a visual help to get better and faster at your own line. Also did you practise parkour in real life?

I just recently bought the game and I've really been enjoying it so far, there's not really any other parkour game that has as intricate of movement mechanics as Rooftops & Alleys. I've really been enjoying the new map but my only wishes are that there could be some bigger maps with long flow routes and swinging off bars as a new move and object on maps. Aside from that it's practically perfect in my eyes and I really appreciate your efforts to provide something heavily substantial in a somewhat neglected genre. I've played this for nearly two dozen hours so far. I can feel the heart, soul and fun injected into it's development. It is by far the best Parkour sim game I've played since "Free Running" on the PS2 in 2005. I don't know if you played it but it's still on Steam, I highly recommend. You could play as all the big names of the time, Sebastian Foucan, Bam, EZ, Blue Devil etc... It would drop you into several open levels and sprinkle some really testing challenges around the map. Come to think of it, there were two modes in that game that would be really fun in Rooftops & Alleys: There was a sort of "King of the Hill" mode. They would place a medal at the very highest point of each level and the player had to find a way to get up there before time runs out. Really test their knowledge of the level and routes. The other was a "Floor is Lava" mode where you had to get from A to B without touching the floor. I wonder....would you be able to add in horizontal bars to swing from too? I understand you likely have a HUGE bucket list of plans, I'd like to drop in my two cents. I'd love to see R&A be the best it can possibly be.

I immediately bought the game and after playing it I decided to put in on hold as I want the full experience once the game is finished - no matter how long it takes. This game can cook for as long as you want mate. Even if it is 2026 it does not matter. As long as you keep updating the game regularly it does not matter if it is still in early access in 2025 and further

You will probably encounter burn out one way or another. And have fun while working on your game, that's very important. I could tell you do already, I just thought I'd put that out there. And I'm curious do you use Blueprints or C++? Although it's been proven you can make fully playable games with blueprints alone.

Love the gameplays ive been seeing. Have you considered a bit of a story mode? As well as game modes (being chased by cops, chasing criminals, delivery a pizza in a short time without messing it up etc, coping other peoples lines e.t.c )

Launching a product and knowing there's people paying and waiting / anticipating your product really gets on your nerves when you are solo / part of a very small team, beacuse you dont have anyone to share that weight with.
