You can use the "r" subcommand to test for close the mob is and use the "tp" command to teleport them to "^^^1^ which is infront of you and then you do the rest,this is for the grab,I think it should work

This is a fucking masterpiece. Words can not describe the way my brain is rotting right now Seriously though, as someone who has minecraft command experience, i love this with all my heart. Mods get all the glory while datapacks and commands can do it all too. One of the current "best" JJK mods is on bedrock and uses items for abilities. A full blown mod with elite animations couldn't step lut of the items for abilities stage, which your commands (and you said you're not even that good) also have. Stand proud, you are better

you could make the abilities work by dropping an item and when that item gets dropped theres a command that deletes it and activates the ability. this would also make it easy to have a cooldown system. just make it so the player gets the item back after the cooldown is done
