Thank you all so much for watching and leaving feedback! I would’ve never thought that this channel would blow up to the point it is now. There are two main issues that I want to address: 1. Firstly, I want to apologize for the sound of the audio. While editing the video, I didn’t really think the background music was an issue, but I believe that is due to the settings I use for my current setup. 2. Secondly, even after using clips from Castelia City, I continually stated that Pokémon Black/White is a 2D game. This is incorrect. I am so used to the 2D sprites, and since they are so iconic, it completely slipped my mind even after writing the script. I’ll be addressing these issues in future videos and taking in as much feedback as I can to improve! Once again, I apologize for misleading and confusing you if I did, and thank you all for the support! (^_^)

I agree Yeah, it's cool and cinematic-looking, but it's important to remember that the player is going to undergo several hundred battles (possibly upwards of a thousand depending on how much they play). Having so much movement and animation can become physically sickening (in my case) and/or time-wasting in the eyes of the player. I often see that, during nuzlocke runs, players will turn off battle animations (or equip some sort of fast forward through ported games) the instant that they start a run because it's so much time wasted on something that they've already seen hundreds of times before. Imo I think that, for a game like pokemon, those repetitive transitions should be follow the three S's: Short, Sweet, Subtle. Or alternatively, the animations should be made short and incredibly unique so that they never get old.

When the first 3D games were announced (X/Y) I got super excited, but now I miss those times when Pokémon were a 2D or 2.5D. Some Pokémon are not as charismatic in 3D models as they used to be in 2D Sprites. And it is so strange that the human characters are in 3D, they have animation moving their mouth as if they are talking, but theres no voice over. I mean, not everthing is bad, but I think that until the 5th Gen we didn't have that much complaining by the community as we have today. It was simpler graphics but, in my opinion, in some aspects, it was more fun. Your video gave me a taste of what it could be if we still have this. It brought me the nostalgia of the "old school" games I now miss. Thanks, man! I hope you can do more videos like this, I will definitely watch it! ❤

Dude pls complete this! It looks so good!!! A game like this would cure my soul. AFAIK TPC really only bans/sues those roms and hacks that are used to promote another services/franchises, those that are used by the creators to make money and those that has an open source code.

Sorry but that style is ugly regardless of how it’s executed

I've always imagined remakes of Black and White to be like Octopath Traveler. The games' 2d and 3d graphics mix always felt so similar to me.

I can't believe you made something this incredible afternoon having to learn so much of it from scratch (Unreal engine, pixel art, blender)! Absolutely amazing!
