Is it possible to (ehh.. insert?) a Word document into these. in a way that is wieavvbale.?

Not a word document per se, but you can copy + paste the text from a word document into the rich field text of Wordpress. It won't support every feature Word does, but it parses bold / italic, headings, links and so on without problem.
