If you have a national problem of depression, suicides and affects, then something is very wrong with the society you are building. The alienation is so big in Japan (as in most of countries) that people have not only lost touch with themselves but with their families and community as a whole. What's the "solution" they propose for it? Make the family just another good or product, just another commodity that you can buy. It makes me sad to hear what's going on in your country.
