Oh my god, this is actually a reference to "Concept Unification"! Basically, when Showbiz Pizza was bought out by Chuck E. Cheese, they made instructional videos exactly like this on how to remove all the pieces, leaving just a bare endo, and adding on new ones to make them new characters.
