Would like to see a Ted Williams career sim. Those lost war seasons could have made his career numbers up there with Hank Aaron.

I would argue that him missing his prime years, he was probably the best hitter ever. He was sub par in the field so probably not best player ever but best hitter.

We gotta see this! Guessing he would’ve had close to 3300 hits, 650 career HRs, 650 doubles, 2200rbi, and close to 2500 walks. Not to mention at least one more MVP and maybe another triple crown. Amazing.

if Babe played until he was 53 then you'd probably see Cal Ripken Jr play until 76 😂

My thoughts on the older eras of any sport people say these old legends played against plumbers or electricians but why wasn’t everyone putting up the numbers these old players were putting up? They were truly special in some way
@TheAntOrtiz
@TheAntOrtiz 3 жыл бұрын
More so just a joke. There definitely were elite hitters. Some pitchers do have inflated numbers since they would pitch a STUPID amount of innings a season. But really, there were some very good ball players back then

@@TheAntOrtiz that is true I’m not into baseball back in the 20’s and 30’s as much I’m kinda just getting into it now but like the last 5 years I been watching baseball and hearing things but it’s like nba and wilt, people said he played bums but again was bull russel or anyone else putting up those numbers or Gretzky in hockey. Sports were just different back then but I can agree with people when it comes skill wise that this era and future eras players are getting more skilled

Maybe do a series or some videos of today's generation in the 30s-60s era and/or vice versa. That might be fun 🤷‍♂️ Maybe Ken Griffey Jr, hits 1,000 HRs in 1960s? 🤣
@grantreill1966

that would be pretty cool except for the fact you'd have to adjust the ENTIRE database and also that players will still grow like they played in the modern MLB.

@@grantreill1966 Yeah, I know it'd be tricky but I was thinking, maybe if you tweaked the sliders enough and made a couple other changes then maybe just maybe it would be possible. At that point, is the work worth the payoff? 😂🤔
