That's a great truck for those extreme recovery situations you guys have in your area. Hellboy is doing great, you just need to keep making small updates until he quits breaking. You're doing the Matt method, if it's not broke, don't fix it. If you do something silly, make what you broke better than before. Great video, and more importantly, you helped someone out when nobody else could.

I was shocked and nervous me and my family were stuck up there for 7 hours and at the 2 hour mark we ran out of water so my emotions were all over the place but I was internally grateful I didn’t show it much on camera but I did properly thank him off camera when my emotions calmed down and I’m eternally grateful for him saving us when nobody else would come

I was stuck in that red portapotty for 18 hours, i heard you guys drive right by, i was losing hope but then i heard a loud grunt… big foot couldn’t hold it any longer and he lifted the potty up with one arm and sat down without even glancing at me.. i played dead for 1 1/2 hours while he rattled the whole volcano with diarrhea, after he left i was finally able to crawl to safety

Very nice video Rick. Laugh, your wife sometimes looked a bit surprised. The Hellboy is a great truck, I really like it. But honestly, our earlier UNIMOGS, with which we did our jobs in Australia, Asia, Africa and South America and had to get through deserts, volcanic sand areas, mud and dirt, were better. Rick is right, they were not normal UNIMOGS, more powerful engines, with additional oil tanks, additional cooling water tanks, additional tank, a bypass cooler, bypass fan and a good refrigerator. The company had these vehicles converted at that time for a lot of money, based on experience, not everything always worked earlier, but after the conversions, also improvement of the chassis and above all tires with side profiles and automatic tire pressure control and control, adjustable from the inside, for each wheel. Guess who gets to fix it again. But, in reality Rick maybe needs to redesign the fan spacing to radiator. They were in a panic when building Hellboy as the timeline snuck up fast and you don't know until many crazy jobs are done what needs rethinking.

Wonderful area, I've 4wheeled and hiked and explored around there some, but it's been a lot of years. That drone shot of someone's buggy zipping down and back up out of the cinder pit was fantastic! Oh and hey, what's the deal with Hell Boy belching that dense black smoke sometimes? You've a built a terrific beast of an off road wrecker, only thing I don't like about it is the bit of Rolling Coal it does sometimes.
