People get disillusioned because of fake videos. There is a channel of an Asian guy pulling consoles out of swamps and trash and restoring them. Comments lead me to believe he was actually reversing the process. That doubt in one’s mind doesn’t make it genuine

Putting the cartridge slot on top loading down into the unit wasn't a good design as Everytime the unit sat dust collected on the doors just to dump it in the console every time a cartridge was loaded in....a vary nastalgic trip down memory lane none the less. Nice restoration work.

I beat Mario 64 before the original lol. Love that game! Brings back such fun memories. Although, I still can’t get the big snowman very well. Took me a million times lol. But, amazing game! Plus, love to see Yoshi in the end!

Can you help a guy with some DIY maintenance? Is a toothbrush and some rubbing alcohol good to clean a cartridge slot? I can't open it up but I can hold the cartridge slot open and use the brush until it's blank from dirt

There's no jumper pak or expansion pak, and the system will not boot without either.

noo don't blow into game carts. you can damage the copper slowly overtime with that, making them work less effectively over time. Use a Q-tip with water or other cleaning products safe for games and rub the dirty part. You'll probably get black gunk on the Q-tip which will clean the game and make the connection stronger.

Bought one from retro web site it crashes on most games after a little game play or even at start of game play crashes any suggestions as the retro web site has been very discouraged had gotten for x Mas gift and it just never worked and they won't accept it back and give us money .. lameeeee
