I swear that people that dislike your videos are jealous of your skill and dedication. You are giving new life to this stuff while most would toss it in the trash. These electronics can house new memories when they are given a new home. Who the hell would be against that ?

People get disillusioned because of fake videos. There is a channel of an Asian guy pulling consoles out of swamps and trash and restoring them. Comments lead me to believe he was actually reversing the process. That doubt in one’s mind doesn’t make it genuine

Recuerdo que yo también solía abrir mi Nintendo 64 y limpiarla a fondo, en mi colonia era muy común que las consolas estuvieran tan sucias que el botón reset siempre estaba atascado, llegue a pensar que ese botón era pura decoración jajaja

Putting the cartridge slot on top loading down into the unit wasn't a good design as Everytime the unit sat dust collected on the doors just to dump it in the console every time a cartridge was loaded in....a vary nastalgic trip down memory lane none the less. Nice restoration work.

noo don't blow into game carts. you can damage the copper slowly overtime with that, making them work less effectively over time. Use a Q-tip with water or other cleaning products safe for games and rub the dirty part. You'll probably get black gunk on the Q-tip which will clean the game and make the connection stronger.
