I could understand most of what you said, I would say that you could improve your prosody. The rhythm that you spoke with made it harder to understand even though the pronunciation was good.

Sorry if this is a bit long and too detailed. I studied linguistics and I use to sing in a choir and spent several years learning as much as I could about how people make sounds and those things combined has made me really good at helping people learn languages and getting the sound of it right. French is also one of the many languages I speak and now I annoyingly go around correcting people on the Internet. Except it is fun for me lol. You are actually really good. You have a great vocabulary, which you seem comfortable using and your grammar is really good (surprisingly so, I've met a lot of people that have learned French for years and their grammar is... to put it kindly, not reflecting of that) but you do make a few mistakes. For example, with the feminin and masculine nouns and in the ending pronunciations of verbs and adjectives, but that is totally ok because your French is understood perfectly. But if you do want to better your pronunciation, you could work on your tone placement. French is a language that is a bit more set back in your throat than for example English. It also has a nasal quality to it and from listening to you speaking I can tell that you are mostly saying the words from the tip of your tongue and you don't really allow for air to pass out your nose when you speak. There are also certain sounds that are, not unique to French but will make your pronunciation more accurate. Such as the s/z (sounds like sie in German) that vibrating bee like sound. Clearly sounding out the s/c (as the s in snake). Making a clear distinction in your pronunciations of consonants. For example when you say vœux (wish) it sounds like feu (fire) but linguistically speaking is a very common mistake that none natives of any language are prone to make. This is because some consonants are toned and untoned (I think that that is what they are called in English, I learned all this in Swedish), but basically V is the toned version of F and you can tell by the vibration (try it out). If you sound out s (as in snake) and add a vibration to it you get z (as in the German sie) which is the toned version of s and sometimes it varies from language to language, especially if they are not from the same language family. It is complicated lol but good job. PS: you have inspired me to pick up my Korean studies once more. I started a couple of years go but had to stop because being a linguistics student I was balancing 5 languages at the same time and adding a sixth would have been my death. It's now been 4 years and I'm going to restart learning Korean. Wish me luck 😊.

Toned and untoned could well be correct too, but as a person who is not a linguist but who does like to learn languages, I have always seen it called voiced and unvoiced!

Huh, that's an interesting video! Many thanks to the author of the channel for the recommendations! The problem with many people is that they want to take a "magic pill" or get "secret knowledge" and immediately have skills and abilities. However, the truth of life is that knowledge, skills, and abilities do not come by themselves. You can't learn a foreign language without doing anything, without wasting your time and effort, just like you can't learn to ride a bike lying on a comfy couch, listening to lectures and watching videos about "modern methods of learning" on a bike. To really learn something, you have to really practice every day. You're going to fall down while you're learning, and you're going to get bumps - that's normal! The ups and downs of learning are an integral part of our lives. Motivation from success and depression from failure will always be your study companions. However, every student has problems in his or her studies that he or she lacks the knowledge to solve. It can be: poor memorization of words; no progress in language learning; the student can speak, but does not understand speech by ear; misunderstanding of grammar; incorrect pronunciation, etc. Agree that a problem you don't know how to solve is very demotivating. In order to find the answer to our question we have to spend a lot of time to read videos, articles and books by polyglots. In today's world, we have to solve problems as quickly as possible. I don't have time to study and analyze a huge amount of information. My goal is to master the basic knowledge of a foreign language as quickly as possible and already start earning money effectively in the international arena. I settled on the practical guide by Yuriy Ivantsiv " Polyglot's Notes: practical tips for learning foreign language". This book is always in my bag. If I have a problem while learning a language, I quickly find the answer in this book. There are many different techniques and tips for learning a foreign language in Polyglot Notes. I have made my own individual schedule and plan for language learning. Now I know what I am going to study, how I am going to study, when I am going to study and what results I am going to achieve. No problem could stop me! With an effective language learning plan my professional skills are more and more in demand internationally every day. Friends, don't stop there! Everyone has talents that millions of people around the world need! Learn the language and make your ideas and dreams come true! Thanks to the author of the channel for the informative and useful video! Your videos motivate me.
