Glock: the Honda civic of handguns. I've owned a couple. Didn't love em, didn't hate em. They were.. meh.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Growing up in NY there was no exposure to pistol or revolvers. Now that I have the freedom to own and carry in a 2A friendly state I had to play catch-up. But I never understood the love of Glocks. Your video answered all of my questions and for now I will stick with what I like. I appreciate you sharing your gun knowledge, thank you.

Used to sell guns in a local shop. I remember my first impressions ; light , flimsy, bizarre grip angle, terrible ergonomics, and a trigger that is identical to one you’d find on a spring loaded suction cup dart pistol in 1967. They have another really cool quality - you’ll find yourself constantly being asked, “is that a real gun ?” The answer of course is, “Well, it’s a Glock - I think so “ . Oh ,and by the way , they are as reliable as hell!

As a Glock lover who's 2 favorite guns aren't Glocks, I agree with 99% of what you're saying. Glocks are all pretty much the same, but you showed why I love Glocks. Easy modding. You can find more Glock parts than 10/22 parts and instead of starting with a $1,200 gun and working on it to fit you, you can get a $500 gun and throw another $500 in parts into it to make it better and fit you more. I haven't run into any reliability problems that I couldn't fix, but I also don't use anything as a primary until I've put it through its paces and I love tinkering with anything I can take apart. The stock triggers are the worst though. The Gen 5s are an upgrade from the Gen 3s, but it was still the first thing I knew I would replace.

I like the unscripted format. I don't care how my pistols look, I just want them to go bang and after a career of carrying Glocks...they do. Are they the most accurate...no. The most ergonomic...no. Do they have the best trigger...no. But are they good enough all day every day for a good value...oh yeah.

You know, I thoroughly enjoyed this Glock breakdown, and your opinions pretty much line up with mine, with regards to these pistols- especially when it comes to the recoil impulse, and dear God, the standard triggers... It still boggles my mind that Glock run a stud farm. I never could get my head round that. Thanks for the video!

6:12 I feel that. Guns are the only thing my pops and I have in common, beyond them we really couldn't be any more different as people. My mom basically had full custody of me growing up, I'd go visit him and such, but never got to really spend much time with him. So now well into adulthood I cherish any connection I can still make with him, and that's just shooting the shit about guns over Facebook messenger usually.

She is 100% correct on some of this stuff. I did a build-a-Glock a few years back and got all of the Gucci parts you can think of and it ran like shit. Do you research on every part. You don't want Gucci parts for everything. Stick with stainless parts for high impact areas and go with stiffer springs to slow the recoil down. You may think you want lightened parts for faster shots, but you don't. "SLOW IS SMOOTH, SMOOTH IS FAST"

I know this would be a big jump in videos of the series, but a comparative review of the MDRX and the Tavor 7 both in 308. I have an MDRX in 308 with a 20" barrel on layaway at Ozark Outfitters in Versailles, Missouri, and I have $1,287 left on it, plus another $600+ for the blk lbl bipod for it. If I had the money to get it, you could use that in the video (assuming you would want to come down to where I live or to Ozark Outfitters in Versailles, Missouri to film it, that is)
