Its like i went on vacation for free i love your content you keep being you and as for me i never knew the name of that instrument yet im 35 and and adore it because it reminds me of the old timey circus i seen as a kid in baraboo wi clown town usa home of the ringling brothers and all the neat circus history they keep alive out yonder not this new circus with techno musoc blasting and lasers and smoke

Thank you! Yes the Calliope was traditionally played at circuses, especially when the circus would parade down the main street of town on its way to the fair grounds!

Hmmmm People that don't like Calliopes shouldn't go to the French Quarter and maybe visit the Walmart on Tchoupitoulas Street instead -- there are no Calliopes there. lol

Calliopes are so cute makes me think of Mark Twain. People like us who APPRECIATE all historic respect it. Those that don't know or more less don't care they won't understand (the minority or majority of it all)

It's neat to hear the calliope...it really compliments the river boat. It would be nice to hear a competent calliope player, however...the person playing on your voyage played some wrong notes.

Yeah it did seem as though some of the notes were off but I wasn't sure if that's because I know nothing about playing music 😅
