I'd say that car wash was defective if it knocked the mirror clean off. I've worked in a car wash and only trucks with huge towing mirrors need to fold them in because they stick out too far. In other words I wouldn't blame yourself Sam!

because you threw up and automatically felt better I would say that you drank from a bad stream, and gave yourself food poisoning, mixed with the probability that you wore yourself out the day before. Little tip, if possible bring your own water or a good water filter or make sure that there is nothing that would make the water contaminated like a beaver dam because beavers can carry tularemia and Giardiasis.

hearing things like this is really sad for me, I know many people who used to be great and then they started playing video games and they just weren't the same anymore. the truth is, video games are not good for the human body. every one I know who played video games regularly is not as capable of doing things outside, like camping backpacking and other outdoor things that I think are fun. climbing on hills like the one you mentioned is not dangerous if you are good with your body, I do it all the time, even an hills that are so steep that if there weren't any trees it would not be possible and anyone would slide right to the bottom, 200ft below. as for sleeping with a rock for a pillow that does't sound to bad to me, I never use a pillow anyway because I trained myself to be tough largely so I did't have to bring so much when camping. as for pooping, it's not bad at all if you know what to do, for someone that has not done it before it can make sense to use toilet paper and poop in a hole that is at least 8in deep. however while many people think the is sufficient, many animals will come and dig it up leaving toilet paper scattered everywhere. that's why my friends and I don't use toilet paper when we need to poop in the wood, we wipe our asses with leaves, moss sticks or rocks and berry them in the hole with the poop. while the trip you went on may not have been a good first trip, it would not have been very extreme for me. the while I don't get migraines, I have had to walk longe distances without being able to see well, the mosquitoes love me and the bite my eyelids when I'm sleeping, so when I wake up my eye lids are swollen shut and I have to open them with my fingers if I want to see. one of my favorite things to do is to go backpacking for a week, where everything use for a week has to fit in a single backpack.

Don't read if you get grossed out easily! How high up were u? Could be altitude sickness because, one day I went on a camping trip with me, my dad, my brother, and some other friends and their cousins. Also, it was the day we went to the camp site, I had to wake up at 3 am, it was a 6 hour long drive, i fell asleep 2 times throughout the drive, and when we arrived at the campsite, we were around 8000 feet up in the mountains. I felt fine when I was setting up the tent with my dad and brother, but later on in the day I started off with a light headache, but it kept getting worse. I took it as dehydration, and drank 4 water bottles that day, but it wouldn't go away! Eventually, that headache turned into a migraine, I was sitting in my camping chair around the campfire, and I didn't know what to do. I noticed that I was using the bathroom a lot more often, and it wasn't until sunset when I felt the need to puke. I jumped up from my chair and ran to the nearest tree where nobody would see me because the bathrooms were too far away. I bent over, put my hands on my knees and let it out. It was so bad that I barfed in the same spot 3 times, and the last two came out of both my mouth and nose. So I went to the bathroom and washed my face off, everyone there was asking me questions but I went to sleep early and felt fine in the morning, I didn't need medicine or nothing. And that's the story of how I got altitude sickness! Sam could've gotten altitude sickness, and maybe he didn't, but I sure did!
